        • @whitefalcon112: now, now…back down matie…i just made a constructive comment for your consideration below

      Going by the waybackmachine it seems the price has always been $19.95 but was jacked up in price to $22.95 last year only to be discounted back to $19.95. So no deal.

        If ebay sellers can do around $12' Why dont you do a special for ozbagain - say $10 delivered for 3 lasers ?

        You'd get front page for a day - i reckon youd sell a bunch too as people need toys like this to hide their eneloops in

        • -3

          Because I don't sell Ebay lasers. Quality build costs more money.

        • +3

          @whitefalcon112: they are obviously the same laser, look at the pics!

        • -2

          After being in this industry for approximately 5 years now, I can tell you with absolute certainty that they are an entirely different device, although many manufacturers buy their cases from the same provider. (That being said there are few designs for a laser case.)

          The electronics inside are a completely different story. Do your research and you may learn that cheap lasers are a very serious hazard.

        • +8

          @whitefalcon112: if this is true, id suggest that you cease using the same manufacturer supplied stock photos that ebay sellers use

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/532nm-Stylish-Green-Laser-Pointer…

          will you give me a money back guarantee that If i was to buy one of your green lasers and also the one form the above ebay seller, then i disassembled to compare electronic component circuitry, your one will be superior?

        • Good photos are hard to come by and difficult to create without expensive gear. What's wrong with a bloke trying to push his small business?

        • +7

          @whitefalcon112: im all for small business but it appears you are here solely for free advertising and not to push a particulalry good deal

        • +6

          @whitefalcon112:
          If you believe in your product - give Pointless his guarantee.
          I would love to see the result.

        • @BigTed: i think you already know the result mate

        • @pointless comment:

          This site started as cheap deals shared amongst members but as soon as they allowed businesses to post their own deals of course they come here for the free adversiting.

          You've made a lot of unfounded comments about his product. Do you have any proof that the ebay sellers aren't using the photos from his site and not the other way around?

          Proof that his lasers aren't any different?

          The toughest bit about posting deals on OzBargain is the unfounded commentary from the peanut gallery.

          Just because things look the same, doesn't mean they are the same. Doesn't mean they are different either but unless you have some kind of evidence, just down vote his deal and move on

        • -3

          @brentsbits:

          Your attempts at rhetoric have actually been refuted in earlier comments.

          Ill just downvote your comment and move on, as you suggest

          Also, in Calling me out as you have i hope the irony of becoming a member of the 'peanut gallery' it is not lost on you

        • +2

          @pointless comment:

          I read the earlier comments and maybe I'm just thick but I see no refutation of any of my points.

          The irony is completely lost on me as I want jumping on to dump rubbish on someone offering a deal.

          So many people on here are so negative. Like they are owed something. Hasn't you heard that the age of entitlement was over?

        • @brentsbits: 1)

          Good photos are hard to come by and difficult to create without expensive gear

          seller implied using said photos

          2) i asked for money back guarantee in order to purchase and disassemble both "brand" of lasers - that would be the proof

          C'mon man…do you really think that the Chinese factory making the lasers are filling the same cases with different variant of the quality of components? Its not impossible, but highly improbable

          I agree withyour dumping on deal comment - but retailers are different category.

          This "deal" would never be posted by a regular member…amd i think thats the test of integrity really; if a retailers deal would not be well recieved stand alone by another member, then their motives are suspect at best - you have to remember that some people out there think that ozbargain is actually a shopfront - they are the ones really open to exploitation of retailers pushing their own deals

  • what the heck are these for anyways

  • +1

    I bought one of these from off Ebay from a Australian company(Not OP), $5 including postage but no batteries. The laser is fine, the case how ever is rubbish, came apart after a few uses. I can't see why you would choose this case design if you were creating a decent product. If you insist that your product is superior when is there no differentiation from the cheapest item on the market? How about a demonstration of the product against the so called inferior products?

    Is it that hard to take a few photos from your phone and prove the different components? I checked out your website last review was over a year ago… seriously? What type of serious online retailer puts Google ads on your own online store?

  • The website is down. I bought one about a week ago and still haven't receive a confirmation email or anything from them. Pls take down this deal. It's fake
