Sony SRSX55 + SRSX2B Bundle $247.50 Delivered (Most Locations) at VideoPro

50

I stumbled upon this deal when I was shopping for a bluetooth wireless speaker. Other retailers are also doing the same bundle but at different price. VideoPro seem to have the cheapest available with free delivery to most locations. If you prefer a brick and mortar store, head over to Bing Lee (I originally discovered this deal at this retailer) and JB Hi-Fi (at higher price but you may try to negotiate for a price match).

VideoPro (SRSX55 + SRSX2B) at $247.50 - https://www.videopro.com.au/p-9207-sony-srsx55-and-srsx2-por…
Bing Lee (SRSX55 + SRSX2B) at $299 - https://www.binglee.com.au/sony-srsx55bundle-portable-blueto…
JB Hi-Fi (SRSX55 + SRSX2B) at $349 - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/all-tv--home…

Note: I am requesting mod to change the deal link to VideoPro

Update 9/1/2015 - Bing Lee sales rep couldn't match VideoPro's price but was more than happy to offer $270. Got receipts to proof, let me know if you require.

ummm..you're willing to pay an extra $100 as you "trust" Bing Lee???

    • Not really but I thought a brick and mortar store is more accessible to me based on my location. By the way others can try to get BL to price match VideoPro?

      • VideoPro are also brick and motar, I think they have a few stores in Qld including a Dfo in Brisbane.

I've dealt with VideoPro, they're definitely legit and reputable. I suggest you put the cheapest price in the title if you want the deal to rate.

Done. But I am unable to change the link of the deal. Getting mod help on this. Thanks.

  • what price was sony selling this combo during their x days of christmas specials? is it cheaper?

    • If not mistaken I believe it was the X33 that was on sale. This would be the higher end model. JB also did a half price for the X77 during the Boxing Day sale (~$270) but it is not portable model although the at a higher rated audio output.

The SRSX55 is one of the best Iv'e heard , many times better than the Bose Soundlink mini , the SRSX2B is just a toy though.

beg to differ re SRSX2B. There are many bluetooth speakers that are in same price range as the SRSX2B and are rubbish. I own a SRSX2B and the sound it pumps out is awesome for its size/price. Decent bass and good clear sound at volume. Plenty of friends have commented about what a great little unit.

I gave my teenage daughter an SRSX2B for Xmas, and had my fingers crossed it would sound okay as I was scared it wouldn't make the cut. It blew me away how good it was. Excellent volume, great bass, she was stoked, and so was I. For something so small, it really punches above it's weight.

  • whats the difference in the sony product naming, with SRSX5, SRSX55, SRSX55B?

X5 was the original model, and X55 the upgrade, but whats the +B signify on their range?

    I have the 5B, 3B & 2R (red).
The 5 sounds great, but better when plugged into power as it has a lower output on batteries.
The 3 is excellent sound for the smaller size and bass ia quite good
The 2 has volume but lacks the bass and warmth of the 3 & 5.

  • damn, was keen on the SRSX55 but wrongly assumed it had songpal/chromecast/spotify support… only an option on the SRSX77/88/99 it would seem. multi-room-speakers will have to wait…
