depends how you define 'cheap'.
It's around $13 for a single tape, or $28 for a 3 pack of tape.
Each tape is 4m long.
Seems pretty reasonable to me.
I think these machines normally sell for $30-50 elsewhere.
Yeah depends what you need, paper for $8 ish and plastic for $13.

I bought one in store last week for $25. It was posted here under the Brother deal. Plenty in stock, there are four colours available:black, blue, silver and pink
I gave one to a friend. I'm waiting for it to be regifted to me next Christmas.

Yeah it's more expensive but it's fast, easy, powerful - I can whip up a label in seconds. Typing on the handheld units SUCKS.
