Westinghouse Bar 100L Fridge for $174 @ Harvey Norman (HN)

140

Hi Guys,

Posting for the first time. Please be lenient if I commit any mistake.

Got this Fridge for $199 on HN website. I registered for their Newsletter to get $25 online voucher Newsletter=> (http://harveynorman.lyrishq.com.au/combined_sign_up/).

At the checkout, I applied the voucher code and fridge cost came down to $174. Selected for click & collect.

Its easy to carry in a normal sedan car. I myself took one of my friends car and brought it at home.

Its a decent fridge for a studio apartment or students staying together.

The next best price was at JB Hifi for $258 Price in JB Hifi=> (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/whitegoods-appliances/fridges-free…).

Price Hipster shows it was $299 in July, $279 in October, $259 in November and $199 since December 25th.

  • Just be aware that small bar fridges use a fair amount of power relative to their size - ie you can get a 340L fridge or so that uses relatively less power for the amount of space it gives.

Westinghouse - 100L and 204KW per year = 2KW per Litre per year
Samsung - 415L and 350KW per year = 0.84KW per Litre per year

So what I'm saying is it's cheaper to run one larger fridge than say two smaller fridges…

but the capital cost + running price comparison is more suitable though?

      • And possibly most important… Size.

This is bought because its compact.

  • I was gonna say, these little buggers are no power savers…

  • Good price, but no stock in my area :(

    • Melbourne QV still has stocks. BTW, to which suburb you belong?

Are there any small ones that are efficient? Or am I wasting my time looking?

  • Thanks OP, needed a new fridge for the man-cave and this will be perfect.

  • If you are looking for a cheap one, then why not a kmary one for 120$?

No, its 189$ for 115l. I thought i had seen it for less lately…
