Should add this to the post for clarity - some people might think these are normal WISH eGift cards (i.e. can be used at all WOW Group stores), which they are not
Convert to normal BIGW or WISH Physical Gift cards at store and use it anywhere including Caltex
Again, it is hit and miss depend on who serve you at checkout

I bought gift card with an egift card. You ask for them to load up the amount you want then they leave and let you pay in peace however you like. It's not a big deal…
Good to know. Personally wouldn't risk putting a large amount on BigW cards then, you never know when they might command all their staff to not allow conversion.
Agreed. Definitely "proceed with caution". It might be possible to convert them now, with some lax staff, but given the way the Woolworths Group is heading I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being blocked in the checkout software itself at some point in the future.
Will be hard to convert to physical gift cards after the mess we created during Xmas.

i tried to convert to wish cards at robina town center… exact words from service manager. "we receieved a memo from head office to no longer do this for you"….
Phone local Big W today to ask if they had enough JB hifi gift cards in stock for $1500 worth. They mentioned restricted payment methods, I told them I wanted to buy them with egift cards and they said they won't do it. Told them I've done it before. They said there has been a change. Not allowed any more. Not sure if self checkout will still work. It did the last time I tried back in November.
This came up as a new deal but it doesn't feel very new. It's been on a couple of times in the last few months from various sources. I've purchased enough cards over the last month to keep me going for a few months so don't want to hold any more value. Good luck to those who attempt to convert the ecards to physical Wish cards. I've been able to do it a couple of times but I don't know if I will succeed again. I've got about $30 left on my current Big W egiftcard but I'll be going to Big W in the next few months so I shoud be able to get full value out of it.

When on the Ent Book site, what info is that that you actually need to enter to get discounted gift cards? Are there normally ones there for both WOW and Coles? Cheers
You'll need to hold their paid membership. And there is no more Coles cards.
Does Big W sell a decent TV of mid size?
