  • Price match at Harvey Norman Sydney, is is possible?

Or how much to deliver to Sydney?

1.Are you asking the store rep if HN can pricematch?
      2. 2 clicks(one to the link above and one to add to cart), 4 digits(your postcode), 1 click (press "go")and you can find the answer! Much easier and quicker than typing the question here.

1.Are you asking the store rep if HN can pricematch?

Who do you think I am asking?

        • HN doesn't price match - something to do with "Competitors that do not operate multi-store omnichannel retail operations"

  • Spent $59 2 months back :'(

    • Same, I thought it was a great printer for the money though.

$ 21.53 to my area more than the printer … :p

    • $48 to my area :P

    • Yep same to Sydney metro area

  • great price, especially with wireless function

How many of you guys actually purchase a new printer (on sale) instead of getting the new ink/cartridge/whatever for your current printer?
I started this habit but idk where else to put my old printers

Hard waste collection day. That's where you put it

I realise this is OzBargain and I'll probably get downvoted to oblivion for this, but…

Please consider the environment when you buy a new printer instead of ink. That's a lot of resources which are being wasted. Perhaps buy a CISS? Then you get cheap ink and get to help the environment. Win-win!

    • Bear in mind that most printers are only supplied with "starter" inks to get you going.
In this case the starter cartridges are black (200 pages) & colour (165 pages).
The new genuine XL cartridges are rated at black (600 pages) & colour (415 pages) so it is usually cheaper to buy new inks.

      • But the link is normally double the price of the printer, back link is like $60 which can buy 3 printers.

        • The genuine black 62xl ink is $45 delivered on Ebay ($36 on staticice without delivery).
Of course the $19 complete printer is an amazing deal & worth buying for the ink alone, but this is a rare clearance offer with limited stock for pickup only - this model is normally around $42-50 without delivery.

Put it on Gumtree for free. Someone will ring you within minutes
Don't put it out for hard waste

      • Great idea. Our printer is a Gumtree freebie.

  • does the Wireless Direct work as if it's AirPrint for iOS devices?

  • So once the printer runs out of ink, does it go to Landfill computers?

  • not bad if you could get a few as a group buy if a few people live in the same area.

  • does this or the coles canon printer have the cheapest ink?

    • Neither. The ink is expensive for both of these printers and there seem to be very few options for 3rd party inks with those available not much cheaper than the original.

      • yeah im googling it and seems all ink with microchips cant be refilled

  • I think i was the last person to buy this.. as soon as I bought it, the link became a blank page like what you see now. Thanks OP!

Got a call, I don't pickup unknown numbers though. Looks like it might have been from them. Call me weird but when it comes to online ordering I like communication to be via online methods too

    • simple rule: if it is a missed call from legit caller they will leave a message in your voicemail. otherwise just ignore it coz it's not from important caller, a telemarketer for example

      • yup, that's how I usually do it. No voicemail left by them though. Googled the number afterwards myself to see if it's a known telemarketer to put in a call-blocking app.
