Kaspersky Full Box Set Internet Security 2015, 3 Users, 2 Years $19 (RRP $79) @ The Good Guys

500

Not as good as Bonky's December 2015 deal @ $19, but pretty decent.

On Staticice, next cheapest price seems to be @ $59 @ Umart

Go forth, install and be secure :)

  • Missed old deal, will definitely get this one!
    Thanks.

  • Was $15 a couple of weeks ago. Still a good deal for a decent AV product.

  • Anyone having difficulty grabbing this?
I'm having have tried firefox and Internet Explorer

  • does anyone know if you buy this, can you add this to previous 1 year license to extend it?

    • +2

Based on my experience with circa 2014 version Kaspersky, Yes, you can.

It validates your new key first and stores it as a spare. Once your current license expires, it automatically switches to the new one.

Might as well just grab the electronic key here for ~$21 unless your time and petrol is worth less than $2.

    • +3

Thank you. Got it from there for $19.32

      • +2

Nice. They dropped their price after I posted my comment.

        • Now $19.00
          (+2% if you choose Paypal/CC ($19.38)

    • +1

Thanks for the tip. $19 now

  • Thx Op. Just grabbed 3 copies but forgot about cashreward :(

    • +1

Why would you buy 3 copies? Is that to extend more than 2 years?

      • for the office and personal uses

        • oh ok. Makes sense.

  • Thanks, I just picked 2 of them up.

  • Can you price match at Officeworks?

    • you can price beat at OW if its not cheaper there

      • Just went to OW but they dont sell box version so no price match :(

  • Cheers OP grabbed a copy.

  • My ESET NOD32 Antivirus expired last week. Any good deals on ESET anywhere ?

    • -1

      COUGH Codes are everywhere
      same as this deal

      • -1

Would you mind sharing, where to get ESET antivirus, 3 user licence for 2 years for $19, same as this deal, as you suggested above ?

        • +1

          It's a reasonable question.

@DoctorOwl: cant find for $19 but load for free

@2Poor4Ozb: if you're going to promote software piracy then you probably should leave

He might have meant deals like this that pop up every now and then.

        • @lostn: thankyou lostn
Most Virus scanner companies do always give out free keys to promote their product all you need to do is register and they send you an email

As far as I know, it's very difficult to pirate an AV suite in this day and age. You're always online, and they can verify if your key is legit or not. Back in the early 2000s it was still possible, but products require activation now, which means going online. Even if you somehow managed to find a fake key that works, they'll eventually find out and blacklist it. Then you will get constant messages that it's not genuine and you won't be able to update.

I have not heard of a cracked AV or IS suite in maybe a decade.

  • I've been using Bitdefender for years but purchased this last month when it was $15. Anyone know how long I can wait before activating it? I wouldn't mind using a Bitdefender code I have that expires in ~6 months time and then install my copy of KIS.

Currently running KIS 2016 trial and like it. It doesn't slow down my PC like Bitdefender did. I did prefer Bitdefender's firewall and network monitor more though (it was accurate, KIS is always showing random bandwidth being used).

    • boxed version should not really have expiry date on activating your license but you can check directly with Kaspersky before making a purchase

  • Thanks OP, just bought one :)

  • is this compatible with Win 10 Home 64 bit?

    • Yes. But you should try the 2016 download first with the 2015 key

  • I have placed order on saveon.com.au. Do I wait until weekday for them to send me the key via email?

    • I think so but then I bought between xmas and NYs and it said I have to wait till the 4th so was a bit annoyed then it came a day later so someone was in at the office.

  • Wasn't this about 8 bucks a month or so ago?

    • That was for 3PC 1YR * KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY 2016.

  • Oh right, 2 years vs 1. Gotcha cheers.

  • Does this have an anti-virus, or go you even need I with this?

  • Thanks for the post OP, was looking for a new antivirus to replace my current one, just put an order in when I'm meant to be sleep but here I am online shopping! thanks again

  • DO they expire ever if I buy now and use later?

    • hi melfes I have the same question too about the software hoping that is the case…

    • I sent kaspersky au the following message:

"I currently have another anti-virus product installed which will expire in 5 months, is it okay to install my retail copy of KIS and use my activation code in 5 months time and have my 2 year license begin then or do I have to do it by a certain date/is there an expiry on the code in the box?"

      Here was their response:

"Thank you for emailing us. Yes you can change to Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 on your computer when your Kaspersky Anti-Virus expires. You just have to make sure that your Kaspersky license has not been activated on more than the specified PC's on your license. When you want to change to Kaspersky Internet Security you will need to fully uninstall your Kaspersky Anti-Virus first."

      • This is my reply from Saveonit.com

        Hi

The product is compatible with current KIS 2016 version. So it will be valid for at least until mid this year before 2017 is released. We won't know about compatibility for 2017 version until closer to the release date from Kaspersky.

  • I took advantage of the earlier $15 deal and find that KIS is good enough for me to install this on all my PCs/notebooks. Thanks Op. I bought another pack this time.

  • whats the difference between this Internet security compare to the Total security? and, can this extend to 6 years if only use on 1 pc? or the license for 3 will expired at the same time?

    • It expires at the same time. Once you activate the license, it is activated for 3 users.

  • While I have taken advantage of this deal, can somebody advise why would we want to purchase this and not install free AVG?

    • +2

      AVG is just anti virus.

      This has AV and firewall.

Also, free products have advertising and nagging. And AVG is known to be slow.

  • Is there a deal for just one user?

    • +2

Go halves.. or thirds.. with your friends.

      • Does installation require making an account, like bitdenfender?

        • +1

It's not tied to an account.

        • To be precise, you get a registration code which you create an account for, and once you do that, you get an activation code. That activation code is what you enter into Kaspersky. You can enter that onto another computer without any accounts.

        • @lostn:

I see, thanks for the classification.
Makes it a little easier to share.

  • bought one…another thing you can do is download the free 30 day version, see if you like it, then buy the $19 key….I no longer get all those annoying pop up banners

  • This expires today - so get in quick if you want it.
Good tip above.. buy it now but dont activate.. use the free trial for 30 days and then activate using this key.. get 2yrs 1 month out of it.
