Lenovo ThinkPad 20C3A00QAU Win 10.1 Z3795 4GB 64GB E-MMC for $399 Delivered @ Shopping Express

170

I just noticed this deal on Shopping express. It expires today so get in quick.

Price is better than shopbot, getprice, and looks great compared to other australian stock. Without going for a China-tab like Teclast x98 Plus, I think this is a great budget win 10 tab with 1920x1200 resolution.

Note that this is an end of life product, I recommend it as great bang for buck.

    "Lenovo ThinkPad 20C3A00QAU Win 10.1 Z3795 4GB 64GB E-MMC for $399 Delivered @ Shopping Express"

    It's 10.1" not Win 10.1

    • True, although you will be able to take advantage of the free upgrade to Win 10 and get rind of awful windows 8

    Not cheap….

I bought the Toshiba Click 2-1 yesterday from JB for $508 and I think that's a much better buy.

    • Spec aside, Toshiba has been flimsy for me, thinkpad much better built.

The specs also mention the ThinkPad having a digitiser pen, which is pretty good at this price.

Are you comparing a note book to a tablet?

    • negged as my readings of the specs say quite the opposite.

Toshy has a slower processor, Amazon complains about speed of programs (all of them).

  • clearing them out for the Gen 2 that is out: http://www3.lenovo.com/au/en/tablets/windows-tablets/10/p/22…

  • I've read and watched a few reviews on the 64gb and 2gb of ram version. Most of the reviews say that the usb does not have enough power to power a hard drive that doesn't have a separate ac adapter. Will a powered usb hub work instead?

This model also seems to have a proprietary ac adapter connection unfortunately but I couldn't seem to find anything that says how long it takes to charge.

Not a lot of information or reviews out there on this model which makes it hard to assess.

  • Hi all, glad for some positive votes. I was worried this was just a dupe of sir tightarse's more general australia day shopping express bargain. However I thought this was worth a mention. Glad to be of some service. Sorry for any incorrect info re Win 10 vs 10", I was very tired.

  • I think this has expired. It is $499 now.

    • Its now increased to $912.50. Quite high for the product.
