  • So what are the full terms, how long does the $50 cash back take to process?

  • Is it possible to know whether we'll definitely receive the cashback before paying? Otherwise it's a bit of a gamble.

      Happy travels!

      • Hi

How can you book now when it says

Offer is limited to the first 1,500 bookings made via the Flight Centre website between 31 January and 6 February 2016

        in the terms and conditions?

        • Excellent point!

          Apologies.

          I'll be in touch shortly.

          Felix.

        • Hi there again,

Apologies, this is a sneak preview of the campaign and is valid for sales from Sunday 31 January.

          Happy Friday!

          Felix.

    • Hi there again,

I have just been told a notice will be posted to this thread when the $50 cashback offer is getting low. So provided you book prior to that message you're certain to obtain the $50 cash back.

      Happy Friday!

      Felix.

  • If no VISA cc that means is not entitled to the cash back?

    • Hi there,

      That is correct.

This campaign is in conjunction with VISA.

      Happy Friday!

      Felix.

      • I don't think that is true.
VISA checkout is just a payment gateway. You can add Master or even AMEX card in VISA checkout.
As long as you use the gateway, I think you should be fine.

In T & C it only states you need to pay via Visa Checkout.

    • Hi there again,

I have just had a lesson in VISA checkout.

Please feel free to register your credit card with VISA checkout here: https://secure.checkout.visa.com

It does not have to be a VISA credit card.

      Happy Travels!

      Felix.

    Booking fee $19.95…

    • Yes.
Online Domestic/Trans-Tasman flight bookings will incur a booking fee of $19.95 per booking.

  • +2

$150 is inclusive or exclusive of booking fee ?
Eg. If I book a $131 flight plus 19.95 booking fee, so I paid a total of $150.95
Will I be eligible for the cashback or not ?

T & C is not clear. It just say spend $150 or more.

    • Hi there,

The offer is $50 cash back when you spend minimum AUD150 on domestic airfares via the Flight Centre website.

This does not include the $19.95 booking fee.

Please feel free to email me at: [email protected]

      Best regards,

      Felix.

So you have to spend $189.90(including the outrageous!! 'online' booking fee), starts in a few days, you have to sign up to some sort of payment gateway that has no added incentive, all to MAYBE get $50 back.

    Pass.

    • 169.90 :p

    • Hey there,

Just want to point out, it's $150 minimum spend plus the $19.95 booking fee.

A notice will be posted to this thread when the $50 cashback offer is getting low. So provided you book prior to that message you're certain to obtain the $50 cash back.

      Happy Friday!

      Felix.

      • Felix is there anyway to get an indication on how many have taken advantage of the offer?

I know that Felix is simply doing his job but it's a huge stretch to call this either a deal or a bargain.

    • +2

Agreed….. lose the booking fee and it might be attractive

      • if only they would listen to this.

  • Blimey, hard crowd to please. Not really any different to any of the AMEX Cashbacks. This is nearly 30% off…..the QF cashback was $100 for $700 spend.

    • Well I'm trying to book A return flight BNE to TSV with jetstar.
On jetstar.com the flights are $264.
      On flight Centre…. $296 (inc. $20bf)
So with the so called $50 cashback the effort is only worth $18.
Not to mention to get that fare we need to book 2 ppl separately.
If you booked together the savings drops to $6. ouch.

      • Hi there Budmeister,

All Jetstar flights pull into our systems automatically, so the price you were looking at with Jetstar most likely sold out prior to your booking. This would also explain why you needed to make two separate reservations.

        Happy travels!

        Felix.

        • Hi Felix, how long should the cashback take?
Is the 1500 limit still not reached?
Can I use the cashback twice with one account?

          Thanks

        • @Budmiester:
