Not the cheapest it has ever been, but still it is a decent price.

It's been reported that you can refill the toner ——word of caution due to the toner being very bad to breathe in, etc etc.

  • Really tiny toner cartridge. I barely got 100 pages (though a lot were photo's). Got 2 on eBay for $26 which I'll be refilling if that's cheaper. Quite a good little printer.

    • Really? Used it for about a year and then used it to print a uni book and only then it started to run out (uni book was 400 pages)

    • +1

The trick is to put sticky tape over the senses on either side of the cartridge. Gets at least a few hundred more pages out of your toner.

  • Love mine!! Have had it about a year. Great little workhorse. The included toner printed about 300-350 full text pages at 'toner save' quality, and just purchased more toner from inkstation.com

I've heard mixed reviews about the toner from eBay (that's its awful and doesn't last long, mostly), that's why I went to inkstation

  • Whatever the result you get, still loads cheaper than inkjet. I have a Canon MX926 inkjet and because I only ever print a page or two at a time it only got about 30 pages from a set of cartridges due to the startup head cleaning process. Getting a CISS for that.

CISS might sit there and dry up, an even bigger loss.

  • Also word of caution - I bought some toner advertised as "high yield" from eBay, and it ran out faster than included ink!

  • Great printer. Takes up little space when not in use. Bought the generic refill on eBay.

    • A conspiracy theory (kinda) that actually turns out to be true?

      Wow. Did not know that.

Try Aldi's Special its scanner and copies and it's wireless..

    • How long do the aldi specials last for?
I'm in Adelaide and the local one opens 3rd of Feb will they still have some?

      Thanks.

    • Any word on the quality of the aldi printer?

      • The just had a look into them and they're no compatible with Windows 10. Very disappointing.

        • Surely that's not the case…???

  • If there were more toner in the cart., I'd suggest using some of it for the Magnet & Toner (in food oil) Science experiment. (See YouTube for some wild results! under different titles).

    But DON'T BREATHE-IN NANO-PARTICLES in the toner.

Bad enough that cigarette smoke is radioactive,
nano-particles could go where they shouldn't be.

  • I have one of these, think I paid $35 from Officeworks early last year. Works great, and I've probably printed around 500 pages with the toner it came with and still have some left.

  • Hi - I need a wireless printer - can anyone comment on the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P115W Wireless Mono Laser Printer for $49 from officeworks - seems like simple mono laser with cheap consumables? printer link
