  • How is it related to Titanfall though?

      • but in this case it's digital, so it's literally just a titanfall picture in the ebay listing lol.

        • Yes looks that way. It originally was a small card with the code on it I think.

        • @cruelsinger:
I bet they're physical cards, and you'll just get a scan/photo of the card.

    • +1

I'm sure the cards just have Titanfall branding, there wouldn't be any Titanfall-related content. MS often do co-branded xbox live cards, these were probably sitting in a box in a warehouse somewhere, forgotten about until someone found them and put them on ebay. This does date them to early 2014 though, so I'd ask if there's an expiry date if you're interested in buying them…

    • Titanfall is a game you can play on xbox Live.

  • Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Titanfall theme.. it's just a promotional Titanfall card with a xbox live gold activation code on it. nothing more ..

    • LOL no stock

      • +1

I must have grabbed last one. My bad :(

  • Purchased from EBay wireless1 .. Received the code within 20 minutes and worked fine.
The CD keys deal seems to be a bit cheaper though if they had stock ..

  • +5

Seems expensive. I only like to pay $40 / 12 months

    • -7

I only like to be paid $1m/sec.

      • +3

I only like to post comments that bring out stupidity in the proceeding others

        • -2

True. The moment anyone replies to the first pointless comment already proves its stupidity although can never be as stupid as the first comment so no one hesitates to reply to the first pointless comment.

@wtfnodeal: wtfnodeal, we have a conundrum

        • @pointless comment:

Wtf? Seems like a pointless comment and no deal.

Welcome to the Australian dollar crashing, it doesn't much care what you like.

  • Have Gold subscriptions dramatically jumped in price over the years? I get the suspicion that ive previously purchased yearly subscriptions for about $40 - $50.

    • Aussie dollar and barely any sales. PSN+ was like 30USD last black friday, didn't come close this year.

    • I was wondering that to, I'm almost sure I used to buy yearly subscriptions for about 50 AUD online like it was just normal. Seeing that this is now basically a deal is quite surprising, and saddening.

  • +2

Price has gone up so much, cheapest I could find was $60 for 12 months. I use to pay $35-$40.

    • I thought that too but couldn't remember from last time i purchased a one year subscription. Not surprised though.

Think i have less then a year left on mine but considering getting another few years now and deal with the inflated price when those expire or not all if i no longer have time for gaming.

    • Yeah sucks. Paid $38 I think last year. Now with less than 1 month remaining on my subscription it's looking like around $60…

    • +5

      This is for 2 years.

    • +7

Have you found cheaper than this deal ?? If so please share …

  • Can you stack 2 years on top of your current sub? I'm only in my first month, got a year sub the other day

    • +1

      yeah you can

  • +1

Great find OP, mine expires in a week so perfect timing.

  • -2

yep - just bought one…. waiting to get email - if anything im covered by ebay paypal protection if this is a fraud…

    • +3

Why the hell would this be fraud…These guys have a brick and mortar shop inside Westfield shopping centre ffs. Also 35k reviews with 99.8% positive on ebay shop…………..really mate.

      • -2

because its almost 50% off RRP… being cautious thats all

        • +1

Australia's RRP is a joke. Been buying my live subscriptions from overseas for years.

  • +1

I still have 40+ 3months xbox live cards I bought from the huge big W sale for $3 each.

  • Currently valid until 2018… I think I can pass on this deal.. for now :)

    Great buy tho

  • Last generation I was a 360 man and got a PS3 as second console because the online was free for PSN. This gen, the more powerful PS4 became my primary console. Every time I think of getting an Xbox as my second choice I remember that the online is taxed and I cannot justify 2 online subscriptions.

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this position. Wish Microsoft would realise this and establish free online this gen to get more defectors back into the fold.

So this membership will be like the game? Doesnt work….

    • +1

      ?? WOT ??

  • I checked all my Ebay IDs and found one with 2 x 15% off coupons.

    Them bought http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271555697794

    $59.99 less 15% = AUD $50.91

That was the cheapest that I could find last week.

When I was buying last week, the "12+1 month" and "12+2 month" codes (usually branded in some way like this Titanfall deal) worked out more expensive per month.

IF ONLY I had waited until this week, then I could buy this deal at $99 less 15% = $84.15 GRRRRRRRR :-D

  • thanks

  • Cheers OP, mine didn't run out till May but couldn't resist the offer.

  • Just curious, How long does this generally take to be sent through?

    • It took about 20 minutes to get it when I purchased the other day ..

      • Bought mine at 5:30 this arvo, still haven't got it

        • They are an actual store . I got mine during business hours. I suspect You should receive it tomorrow

        • @bazzazz:
          Oh right, wasn't aware. Cheers.
