Greater Union Village Event Screen Saver OFF PEAK 10 Adult Passes $85

60

I work for this company, please go easy on me on this very first bargain.

The vouchers entitles the holder to one admission to any standard session at any Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle or Village Cinema Australia-wide on. Screen Saver Off Peak are not valid on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including school and public holidays.

Current vouchers are expired on 31 October 2010.

Surcharges: $2 Surcharge applies for V-max theater entry, $3 Surcharge applies for 3D sessions where surcharges are collected at cinemas.

Despite the fact that it only can be used in certain days of the week, it still a great bargain for those who do not go to the cinemas on the weekend, and still cheaper than the cinema's super Tuesday and membership special price.

Postage is AUD $3.00 for any quantity of movie vouchers bought, even you combined with other movie vouchers type.

Payment is secured with PayPal payment gateway - so there is no worries as it's a secure payment gateway. No PayPal account? You can pay with your credit card instead or internet banking - refer to the website for banking details.

"please go easy on me on this very first bargain."

    grab the pitchforks guys! ;)

  • So it works at all Village Cinemas also?
You'd think they'd advertise that over Greater Union :D

    • i dont think there are any villages in sydney and that's where these guys are based they have a pick up location in the city
they have ebay listings for these at $10 each too, but since of that coffee thing there are heaps of off-peak tickets going for about 25-30 for 4 at auction atm on ebay. or around 12-14 for 2

but yeah these work at village too

  • Yes, it works with any Village cinema and any Greater union cinema and any Event cinema.

  • Village cinema is not available in Sydney. However, Hoyts and Greater Union/Village are.

  • I like the TPG ad on that site. 49 bucks for 80GB. How long ago was that?

  • Guilty, no update for months. Been busy with all sales on eBay. Have put the banner problem in my to do list. Priority.

  • Off peak tickets suck, but it is an ok deal if you always go during the day.

Screen Saver Off Peak are not valid on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including school and public holidays.

I got one of these with COTD … and have not had a chance to use it at all. The terms are too strict. You can't use them on school / public holidays… so when school is out for summer - you can't use them. I have a Rostered Day Off, once a month on Fridays - and I can't use it either.

As far as I'm concerned, the offpeak ticket that I bought was a waste of money … and you should really consider whether or not you can use it, before buying them. It's particularly hard to do, if you work full time.

  • Is this pass can used on Gold Class? See "Gold Class conditions" below, It seems like it can be used on Gold Class.

    • no it cannot be used for gold class

  • Screen Saver Off Peak are not valid on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including school and public holidays.

Then they are no good at all !!! When else am I supposed to go to the cinema with the kids !? @#$$@#@!$

    • clearly there is a valid business reason that OffPeak Screen Savers are cheaper than the normal ones. Most movie screenings in off peak times play to almost empty cinemas.

  • Sorry for late reply, being a newbie, I only can post 5 replies in a day:

@georgedn: Thank you. Your positive comment is all I need.

$capio: Gold class conditions applies for Gold class vouchers, while the off peak ticket please see the Screen savers conditions.

@amelyn: Right - off peak tickets are cheap due to they're limited on how it can be used, however it's still a great deal if you can go to cinemas between Monday to Thursdays any week with exceptions school and public holidays. Out of 365 days in the annual calender, you can still use the off peak ticket on 150+ days.
