      Nope, if you leave the options as is, and click on buy season, you'll have the whole season for free (13 SD eps of Naruto and 12 HD eps of Fairy Tale).

    Is this available to AU? The page says added to library, but the store app doesn't show it. Also attempting to watch an episode from the link says "Sorry we can't take you there"

        I just clicked the links on my other Win10 pc and it launched the store app straight away and added it both free.
        But on my main Win10 machine, still can't get it to activate.

          Nah, i've got Win 10 Pro with all the latest updates. It looks to be a regional issue. If your Microsoft Store account is AU (like mine), it let me "purchase" the videos, and they're in my library, but when attempting to play them, it gives me an error. The videos are available on the AU Store, but it shows them as being $19.99 for the season (not free).

          I'm guessing we'd have to change our billing address to a US one or try something else to get it to play the files from the US Microsoft Store instead of the AU one.

          It sounds like they're delivering a great alternative to piracy where you just grab it and play it where you like. I can totally see why you'd pay money for this inconvenience and inability to actually view the content.

    Thanks op. BTW not to take anything away from your deal but incase you didn't know you can watch a ton of anime legally in SD free on Animelab. You don't get to "own" it but it's free for now at least. I think it even has all of fairy tail and some of Naruto too.

      There are quite a few free legal anime streaming sites available in Australia: Animelab, Crunchyroll, Daisuke, Hanabee, and Viewster (also netflix, but that's not free)

      http://because.moe/au is a search engine for legal streaming sites. Just type the name of the show you want (english name) and it will show you which streaming sites are available to you.

      There are enough free legal streaming sites these days that you shouldn't have to revert to illegal ones.

      http://because.moe/au is a legal streaming site search engine - just type in the name of the show you want to watch and it will show you legal streams for the show.

    Please I urge there younger generation to realize this is not good anime. One must go back to mid to late nineties and early 00's to find such. Try Series: first of North Star, dominion tank police, avoid legend of over fiend. Features: Akira, Ghost in the shell, Ninja scroll but have fast forward button close at hand.

        I think he meant purchasing the videos worked for him IE but not in Chrome. Playback is done through the "Movies & TV" app in your Windows 10 start menu.

    Got both seasons free but can't work out how to switch to HD playback in "Movies & TV" app. Also I can't work out how to switch the language from English to Japanese.

    Definitely not the best platform to get your shows, I've never purchased anything from the Microsoft Movies & TV section before but I guess this is a good indication not to bother with it.

    Cheers! Got the first season of Fairy Tail… Just an FYI, these are dubs and not original audio with subs.

    If you're like me and prefer original audio with sub, just wait for a box set or something to go on sale. This should tide you over for now though =)
