  • mod - From reading Manobik's later comments, he's saying he thinks smspupmobile is a better deal, as you get more value to use, though someone pointed out that smspupmobile costs more. I've tried reformatting this too so it doesn't take the whole page, though the original formatting was very readable

Ad. supported smspupmobile(http://www.smspupmobile.com.au/) gives $130 value for only $10/month
You can spend $130 on: Calls to Landlines and Mobiles in Australia, Calls to 13 and 1300, SMS, MMS, Selected International Calls, GPRS and Voicemail

International Destinations covered by monthly CAP
Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India,Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, UK & USA.

See this PDF for more info: http://www.smspupmobile.com.au/terms/SMSPup%20Mobile%20Tarif…

so the $20 starter pack gives you the first 3 months access?

    • Hi

The $20 starter pack is to cover shipping and SIM card.

      tks

      • +3

sim weight = ?25 grams. sim size = no bigger than a sim card in a box - say, a DL envelope. sim value = ?$2. $20 is for…???

  • yeah, so really the $6 cap = $75 worth of value because no one has liveconnect or whatever this is

    • +2

yup. smspupmobile has better value. The whole $130 can be used to call other mobiles and all.

      • +1

Depends what you mean by "better value". Smspup may give you 73% more credit but it also costs 66% more. So if you are actually looking to spend less, the $6 cap could be easily better value. Especially if two people who call each other more frequently got this $6 cap, they'd get the extra $75 to use to call each other as well.

        • well,
smspup mobile has 20c/15 second ~ 80c/min and 30c flagfall
liveconnected has 85c/min and 35c flagfall.
5 min call would cost $4.30 on smspup and $4.60 on liveconnected.
5 min 15 sec call would cost $4.50 and $5.45 respectively.

  • Is liveconnect a reputable company?

  • They're new, but seem promising so far.

Hi, rep for liveconnected, i am interested in the apollo 10 cap and i saw that you were having a special for the non ad version, is it possible to have that special again?

    Thanks

    • Hi

We do have the Apollo 10 Cap, there is an option to have no ads on it.

      tks

  • Optus $10 recharge for international calls gives u a total of upto 200 minutes to some countries, why ever bother about this ……. or smspup.

    • Its not about interenational call. Tell me if Optus can match Liveconnecteds price of 20$ for 300$ Credit AND 300 Meg data!! I believe Closes is virgin for like 35$ / month.

Optus is a rip, as is all major companys. TPG/ Liveconnected FTW

    • Optus's 200 min. for a few countries inc. USA. Try other less frequently called countries and you'll pay through the nose. All major telcos here are a rip off

I use Pennytel to call one particular country for 8c unlimited (yes you heard right) but when I use 3's mobile I pay $1.65 cents a minute

  • This $6 cap is really like $75 worth to me as well.
It's better if you can offer the "Apollo 5" again for limited time, some of my friends also want to join but missed last time chance, we will be appreciate if u can listen to our "new customers" voice!

    thanks

  • I just have a few questions about this plan and the $10 endeavour plan…

Is data included in the $75 value? or is it on top of the $6?

How do i actually pay for this plan?

With the $10 endeavour plan and adding an extra sim, how much would the initial fee be? How much value does each sim card get? Can i opt out of advertising on both? if so how much will this cost?

    Thanks
