yeah been waiting for a while saw it at $99 and was going to get JBHIFI to match but then the 20% discount making it much cheaper.
i have JBHIFI vouchers, but i dont think they will match….

Not sure about the 2nd gen but the 1st gen microphones were really bad quality since the data had to be transmitted via BT.

My information might be wrong, but that's the explanation I got when i went looking online as to why my mic quality sucked. Apparently the dongle is a BT receiver?

Did a quick Google search. Seems like it is in fact possible to get a separate dongle and pair it up with the headset by resetting the headset with a pin.

you will have to use the audio cable into the controller, which IMO compresses the sound terribly :)
Seriously though, can you get them to work with an xbox? I have a turtle beach pair and I don't actually run them through the Thu e xbox, just the TV, could I do the same with these? Ie does the dongle connect via RCAs or something else? (of course I am not concerned with chat)

I once had to return to toys r us something I purchased using an ebay discount code, the store gave me a full refund to my credit card as they had no way of knowing paypal funded 20% of the purchase. Perhaps the buyer is hoping Target will do the same and make $20 profit on each? But my guess is there will be some "unwanted gift $90" listings on gumtree next week.

I read on another site that it can work with PC and Mac, jsut took some fiddling to have audio pass through USB in the operating system. I'm hoping to use them on both my PS4 and my mac mini based on this but if not they're still good headphones.
you can use on the dongle via USB otg cable. works on my Samsung Note 4. No need to use jack.

Yep works on pc too. Just plug the dongle in your pc and good to go. Brilliant set of gaming headphones. Highly recommended.
