    Nice find, that's cheap.
Cheaper than CW, use their pricematch Chemist Warehouse - L-Oreal-Men-Expert, and save an additional 10% off price difference.

  • Combined with the Almond Milk deal posted earlier, I'm off to woolworths!

  • Does anyone know if Priceline price matches?

    • +1

Sometimes, but it's not a store policy so you have to try your luck with the store owner. Terry White has a price matching policy.

The best beauty product starts with a commitment at the gym.

But the reality is nowhere near as seductive as the notion that you could slather some cosmetics on your face and get the same … vaguely hinted at advantage that isn't explained too well (probably because they don't want to be hauled up in front of the naughty advertisers headmaster).

Unfortunately in both cases you are still either a man going to the gym or a man slathering pointless crap on his face that then has to do exactly the same thing as the other guy who didn't do this when it comes to finding a mate.

I know this must seem patently obvious but there are actually young men at my gym who think working out everyday is going to get them laid. They cannot seem to grasp that they are going to need to do the same thing whether they workout or not :p

      • +1

Yes, a moisturiser is not a substitute for regular exercise. But the gym is not a substitute for having good social skills and confidence.

Having a good physique does contribute to boosting confidence though.

      Must be a hipster thing

I didn't think much of the moisturizing spf 15 last time I used it. Cloying and the supposedly masculine scent was disconcerting. I would definitely recommend the Neutrogena Beach defence which is also half price at moment. Much better buy all round.

Is this deal promo or clearance on men's items after companies finally agree most men doesn't bother.

  • I'll definitely pick up the face wash and charcoal but I'm not sure if the SPF moisturiser is worth it. SPF15 simply isn't enough in Australia and would require unrealistic amounts of reapplication (see instead Natio For Men SPF30).

    • -1

SPF15 allows you to get a tan.

      • A tan is a critical skin injury. Yes, it generally looks better than pastiness (for men at least), but the irreparable DNA damage and increased risk of cancer isn't worth it.

  • i normally wash my face with a bar of soap or excess shampoo and use the basic dark blue nivea moisturiser cream, but picked up a few of these loreal men things a while ago when they were on sale somewhere. a few different face washes and moisturisers to try out

after a couple of months my skin started getting a bit spotty and flaky and just looking and feeling pretty bad. (even though one of the creams was specifically to prevent spots)
ditched the loreal and my skin went back to its usual flawless visage

  • Pfft. The only moisturiser real men need is axle grease.

    • WD40 works well too and has a pleasant fragrance.

  • what kind of ozbargainer wastes money on these ?

What do you use as your alternative to these sorts of products?
      Moisturiser - Body Lotion?
      Face Wash - Body/Hand Soap?
      Shave Gel - Nothing/water?

      • Shave Gel - Soap ;-)
