Say if I join and cancel the subscription straight away (so that I don't forget to do it later) will I still be able to continue with the 30 days subscription? I know Stan cancels your entire subscription if you choose to end early even through the trial has not finished yet.
There is a mandatory 24-36 hours before you can cancel the trial. But once you do cancel it you loose any remaining time. As you have said "I have no interest in paying for this so cancel it."
If you read the CR help forum there have been reports of people unable to cancel their memberships themselves. So id only take up the trial if you actually would continue to pay for it. Just in case your first cancel attempt doesn't actually cancel it.
I cancelled Stan a week out from end trial last month and it allowed access till end date.
