When I was buying my Note 4, many of the "Duos" models (dual SIM) were inferior to the SM-9005 (AU Model, single SIM). I'm no expert on these, and Samsung sells tons or variants of their phones worldwide, and it can be confusing.
I skimmed the comparison page I linked above, and it seems that the Duos (this deal) have more bands, but specs are otherwise similar. Maybe somebody more knowledgeable can comment?
Not sure if the Grey Import matters… but it would probably affect warranty claims.

Not sure about the 9200 but the 9208 is virtually the same as the N920 but dual sim. Same CPU and all the same bands etc

It's super scary buying such a phone and not even be able to see the model number. And no way to see specs, what bands it supports, etc on that eBay deal.
Like some Chinese-only and USA-Carrier iPhone variants - this thing could be incompatible with Aussie carriers for all we know.
Yes you are correct, in that the DUOS is usually specced down and despite first glance, it's still the same on the Note5 Duos, but the disparity is not as far. The non duos model you compared it to is also of the lower Exynos 7420 quad-core CPU and 32GB storage.
The higher specced ones have the Exynos 7420 Octa-core (rather than quad core) CPU and can have up to 64GB internal storage.
Back in the day, the Exynos chipset was the shit one and the better models had the Qualcomm chipset
I am almost certain that Exynos 7420 has no such thing as Quad-core variant. I assume it's a mess up from the big.LITTLE solution (where you have Quad-core Cortex A57, Quad-core Cortex A53). Samsung knew they fxxked up with removing the microsd slot in S6 range/Note 5 and now watch it suffer.
I do not recommend buying this from QD. Friend received his with touch screen not working at all!
