  • Is this compatible with HP ML10v2?

    • +2

      Yep that's what I have

      • I've bought it and am about to put it in but i'm a little concerned as the crucial site reports that they are not compatible with the ML10V2. I'll tell you later when I put them in.

        • Reviews on Amazon indicate it works so you should be good to go. Still haven't received mine!

        • @atlas: Mine arrived today so yours can't be far behind. I put it in the ml10v2 and have no issues. I have not also installed the original 4gb of ran as well. The crucial seems to be low voltage (1.35v) and the hp I think is 1.5v, anyone know of you can mix the 2?

        • @atlas:
Just incase anyone else is using their ml10v2 with esxi, I got very confused when I got what I though were ram errors. I recieved:
          Uncorrectable ECC Current State:Deassert
Correctable ECC logging limit reached Current State:Deassert

After looking around this seems normal for HP servers and ESXi:

  • I suspect that these will also work in later MacPro towers (the silver ones, not the bin).

  • Man I paid about this for 8gb… Why dont you have +100 votes! I'd be all over this if I didn't already have 16 in mine!

    • To be fair I think I saw 8gb going for just under $90AUD during one of those eBay sales.

  • Hmmm I tools like I'll need some ECC for my Gen8 that I'm finally setting up now if I plan to run a couple VM's, don't think I really need 16gb though…Must resist until I've done more research.
