        because this
        UMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8
        CDMA: BC0/1/10
        LTE (FDD): B1/2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/20/25/26/29
        LTE (TDD): B41
        LTE CA DL: B2-B2, B2-B4, B2-B5, B2-B12, B2-B13, B2-B17, B2-B29, B4-B4, B4-B5, B4-B7, B4-B12, B4-B13, B4-B17, B4-B29, B41-B41

I don't see anything wrong here.

          UMTS / WCDMA is compatible (B1, B5, and B8)
This means 3G is fine. You will be getting max compatibility with Telstra, Voda, Virgin and Optus.

          LTE (FDD) is compatible too
          B1, B3, B5, B7

This means LTE also works, for the most part. It's just missing two common bands:
          900MHz (B8) – Telstra
          700MHz (B28) Telstra, Optus

        • @scrimshaw:

According to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4G_connectivity_in_Australia that Telstra runs on FDD band 3 in capital cities and regional areas and also FDD band 1 in selected areas so you should be able to get B3 1800mhz on Telstra any where and possibly also B1 2100mhz. This phone supports LTE FDD B1 & B3. Should be no problems on Telstra.

Optus also supports LTE FDD band 3 1800mhz in captital cities.

Due to an increase in fraud, we are only accepting payment from US-based PayPal accounts.

Why do they still sell 16 gig phones :(

Lack of some bands for Telstra/Optus, Voda is fine

    • Wow, that's a great link to check phones thanks.

Can't believe I hadn't known about that site before now. That's brilliant! Thanks for posting!

  • will wait for xiaomi mi 5 thanks. Much better build, better processor, better screen, better camera. slightly worse software. same price.

  • Far better off buying from Kogan nexus 5x black for $479 32 gb version, Oz company shouldn't have too much issues if things go wrong no need to convert currency

    • $501 with delivery.

      • shame they were doing free delivery a short while ago !
