    …with OW pricebeat

Haven't OW stated publicly that they won't be pricematching DSE liquidator sale prices???

    • +2

Yeah just saw that OW price beat excludes liquidations.

Always possible to try your luck though, and it's not like the prices to beat are outrageous.

Shame considering the pricing is are not what you would normally expect with liquidated stock. The K400r has been that price and cheaper heaps of time over the last 2 years.

Just checked out a few of their supposed 20% off deals, and the price is the same as 2 days ago, except for the red "That's 20% OFF" not being on the cached page.

So looks like the liquidators are as crooked as the DSE management.

But is the K400r currently cheaper elsewhere? There haven't been a K400r deal in a while so I thought that it might help people. OW, bing lee, TGG etc have had it for >$39 for the last few months, so to some people, this is a decent price.

Here is a price history of the K400r. Notice how there was an actual discount in the past few days. Although it was originally at an inflated price, $35 is the currently the lowest price it is available at by at least 10%.

If the reason for your neg is because it has been at this price many times before, you may as well neg my eneloop deal as well, because the eneloop pro and the eneloop combi pack has been at that 'sale' price countless times in the past.

The price may continue to drop over the next few weeks which is usually case when stores are liquidated by Hilco, but for some people, they wouldn't mind getting it at $35 now incase it goes out of stock.

@lyl: Absolutely rekt. Don't worry, the negative vote will be revoked soon.

1TB USB3.0 Toshiba Canvio drives are regularly $77~79 dollars from most computer Including officeworks

So it's not that great of a deal on the Seagate, considering you won't have vendor's warranty and only manufacturer's.

  • The K800 Wireless Backlit Keyboard and Mouse combo is $91 down from $229 (Or $198 @ JB)

a few items i checked that were marked on receivers sale were still more expensive than other places or same price.

not sure where they got the definition for Sale from

  • I went in today to have a look at the sales. Hardly any stock on the shelves and things were not cheap. Just phone cases and stuff has 20% off etc. Only TVs were JVC and Dick Smith branded.

same for me, no great deals in the store, dab radios were normal prices, 20% off fitness watches …… 20% off RRP on samsung phones (who pays RRP for samsung phone ?).

Probably not worth the shoe leather anymore going to to Dick Smith …. they will just have low stock teasers to try and keep some foot traffic moving through.

I only upvoted your post because of the description.

    • Would be FAR more helpful if you only up voted if it was a decent deal.

      Which it isn't…

  • As usual cant find stock

  • As per usual at Dicks, no help from staff, not a huge discount, no labels with any specs on the laptops or tvs or anything technical. I also saw quite a number of people getting the 5 finger discount on stuff like headphones and other small things as the security devices at the front door were constantly going off.
