    VentraIP are scummy, after this is up, they convert you to a monthly plan, so you pay more if you aren't paying attention. BEWARE!

      I had a 3 year plan with them in the past and had no issues cancelling it before it was up for renewal. Keep in mind that this was in 2010 though.

      "1 GB Cloud Storage space - Economy Saver Plan", will this be enough to run a decent website & still be able to receive emails??
      Say for 3 email id's, what would be the storage capacity for each email or together along with the website (Not sure how much space a website would take)
      or can i use some other free email hosting to avoid the usage of 1 GB?
      Currently my domain is parked, I am using a free email hosting to receive emails & it works well.
      Can you advise on this please.

        That's a bit like how long is a piece of string.

        However 1GB is a lot of space for a basic website without a heap of images. You could split it up to 500MB webspace and 500MB for email or just use something like gmail for your email account.

        It's a good plan to start with imo.

          Thank you for the advise. I spoke with the sales rep and they are really helpfull and not pushing for the bigger plans when i asked their opinion, they recomended me to go to the economy saver (cheapest) plan. For the others whoever wants to buy, 2 years economy saver costed only 29.62 (using code SWITCH75) and i think this is the best deal and they even confirmed as i can use free email hosting services to receive email to free up cloud storage.

    if my site exceed the bandwidth how much do I get charged?
    ANSWER if bandwidth exceeded looks extra bandwidth can be bought, if not the website goes offline till end of the period (what i found browsing ventraip)

    -if my site visitors are not from AU do i still have advantage having local host?

    -actually since i just got a domain from NAMECHEAP was evaluating their first year half price, would be much better go for Ventraip?

      If you've had 250gb of hits you are making money and move to next plan so your users have a better experience unless you are selling vpns.

      If your customers are intentional you'll find US plans from other providers are much, much cheaper for higher data amounts.

      Found out that SWITCH75 (75% off) works if you choose 2 years ( but does not work for 3 years.)
