    Mine were great for about 20 minutes then they died.

    There's a ticking noise coming from the amp and the green light on the control box lights up in time with the ticks.

    Sometimes it catches on and I can play something for a few seconds and then 'tick, tick, tick'.

    Soniq refused to repair or replace my DOA speakers.

    They offered a refund of $4 but refused to refund the cost of freight which was $12. They wanted to me to accept that I would be out of pocket $12 and left with broken speakers.

    Sigh, time to start a complaint through the ACCC.

      Yeah I got a set of those 2.1 speakers.. worked great and sounded awesome for maybe 10mins.

      Thanks for the warning. I see the Store Rep is ignoring you, and the prices are indeed unimpressive for refurbished items. I am tempted to neg.

  I can say that the TV I have as of right now is pretty good. Yes, buyer beware, but just mentioning.

  I'm wondering if refurb deals should even be allowed - are there still consumer guarantees like new products? Makes it hard to determine whether there is a bargain or otherwise. Might be time for a forum discussion…

  I bought the 2.1 speakers last time and for $15 was crazy value mine still go hard and my only regret was I didn't buy two.
