        • I was tossing up the same, but I've decided on the Sony KDL50W800C for extra connectivity + Android, but I have heard the WebOS is excellent and more stable.
Just waiting for Ebay to get their site in working order…

        • @binary01: think you can use ctech to get the ball rolling. Anyway yeh I'm going to sleep on it but I reckon I will go with the Sony as well

        • @Zarcady:
          I'm going with the Sony.
Not much 4k content on the web unless ur looking at pron.
55inch branded tv for under 900 is a bargain.
Not sure about the 'smart' function, but from what I've seen, most of the big brands no longer produce 'dumb' tvs

  • Redemption code CTECH just worked for me.

  • My goods guys order went through and just did pick up from store for a firbit hr, paid via pay pal $142

  • C20TECH works for me with TGG Ebay store (but not CTECH).

NEW Breville BFP660SIL The Kitchen Wizz Food Processor
    Item number 111797758251 $279.00 AUD
    Shipping and handling $0.00 AUD
    Insurance - not offered ——
    Other discounts -$55.80 AUD
    Total $223.20 AUD
    Payment $223.20 AUD

"You saved AU $55.80 on this purchase"

    Thank you OP

    • I purchased a second item (ipad air), and this time C20TECH would not give me the discount with paypal, and CTECH works!.

      Weird. But good.

  • Anyone know if this is any good?

NEW Panasonic SR-DF181WST 10 Cup Rice Cooker

  • +2

Successfully ordered NEW Panasonic CS/CU-Z9RKR C2.5kW H3.2kW Reverse Cycle Split System for $679.20 pick-up after discount using code CTECH on TGG. Gonna apply for a further $100 EFTPOS card from Panasonic AC promotion once I pick it up. Not bad for an effective price of $579.20 :)

    • Wouldn't the Fujitsu one work out cheaper? $899 - 20% = 719.20. $150 Eftpos card from Fujitsu brings it down to $569.20. :)

  • +1

Bought a Roomba 630 from Bing Lee for $384. Cheers for the deal!

    • +2

DJ ROOMBA! Put an iPod speaker or cat on it.

  • +2

thanks OP! just got a RX100 MIII for $615 from Sony AU, albeit refurbished I don't foresee any troubles!

    • another 10% back when I go through TRS in a few weeks!
    • thanks op. I am on the same boat for RX100m3, of course looking at TRS as well.

Do I need to have the packing with me? though the box is small enough.

Delivery is excellent, almost next day delivery. Only little scratch on the screen, I can accept that for $100, compare with the Ted camera $720.

Time to grab a case as well.

      • +1

No not even the charger. All they'll look for is the actual camera. The generally don't even look at the model number but would probably look for the brand at a minimum.

        • -1

If I have dyson vacuum cleaner in box, is it claimed before check in luggage or after check in luggage?

        • @chonghe: After - the TRS counter is after immigrations.
You have to make sure you are allowed to bring the item in your hand carry luggage. Not sure what the battery capacity is.

          @Shonky:

The generally don't even look at the model number but would probably look for the brand at a minimum.

That's been the case every time I claimed. But a few months ago my friend claimed TRS for a phone. The narky lady was really fussy, wanting to compare the IMEI on the device with the receipt. The receipt didn't have an IMEI though, heh.

        • @eug:
It doesn't have to be carry on. You can have it inspected pre check-in, check it in and then claim after immigration as normal.

          https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Ente/Tour/Are-you-a-traveller

        • -1

          @eug:

So if the item cannot carry on then cannot claim TRS?

        • @Shonky:

or check the goods in with your luggage after they have been verified by an officer at a Client Services counter.

You're right, I missed the "oversized" part. I've never seen a customs client services counter around though, although I guess I haven't been looking.

          @chonghe:
So if the item cannot carry on then cannot claim TRS?

If the airline requires you to check it in, then you still can claim TRS fortunately!
Maybe just check the battery capacity limits to be sure. I assume it's a cordless vac.

      • Did you buy from sony? My invoice hasnt arrived yet… Where was yours?

        • Invoice is emailed from Sony [email protected].

Email Subject: Your Sony Store Invoice 608xxxxx.pdf

It won't come with the camera.

        • @zesty:

Thanks man. Still no email from them.

        • @spuderump:

email them or ring them may help.

        • @zesty:

Yeah I tried messaging them on ebay, all generic responses…

Would you have any clue which number to ring for an ebay order?

        • @spuderump:

          Try this:

For post sales support, please call 1300 13SONY (7669) between 8am and 6pm (AEST) Mon-Fri. If you require support in relation to the status of your delivery contact 1300 342 246

  • Does this include home appliances as it included the blender?

    • Yes it includes home appliances. Just purchased a fridge and saved like $579. Anything classified as tech is part of this.

      • You bought a $2.5k+ fridge?? Holy moly!!!

        • I needed a fridge?

        • @DAOtmc: Which one did you buy? lookign for one myself

        • @crazyanand:

          Samsung 680L French.

      • Also just did this myself.

        Samsung SRF680CDLS
        $2899 - $579.80 disccount

        • +1

Make sure to pay the $15 when they contact you for the delivery. Otherwise they give you it in the box and don't put it where you want it.

        • @DAOtmc:
Thanks for the advice. They'll call me and only $15 extra to deliver it to the kitchen versus the front door? And I can pay it over the phone?

It's going upstairs so $15 would very be well spent. I note it's 150kg…

        • @Shonky:

It's very well spent, cause they'll take it wherever you want. And you can't pay over the phone, just tell them and pay in cash they told me. But they contact you the day before they deliver. And your ebay order may say next week, but they deliver within a couple of days. I received mine today.

        • @DAOtmc:
Well they want $119 total (i.e. $69 extra over the normal $50 delivery price already paid) for the full install. A bit more than just dropping the box next to the fridge space though. Then another $49 to connect to water (which I'll do myself) and maybe $25 to move old fridge downstairs.

  • Confirmed working 8:55pm (EDT) CTECH Good Guys in Brisbane

    • Bought a LG Washing Machine Front Loader 7kg WD12021D6 for $542. Pretty happy with that!

What's the deal with Betta Online? It has 4 listings, and they're all tents…

    • +1

You must have the wrong link. Try this one

      • +1

Yeah, that's not the link in the OP

  • Is anyone able to place a pick-up order from Bing Lee? Every time I try and add something to my cart it complains that my address isn't valid or something

    • Good news mate but I just managed an order of an Arlo Q camera using the CTECH code after having errors with the store itself and the C20TECH code. It works!

  • I was hoping for a R9 390 deal somewhere, but they're all NVIDIA :(

  • anyone know if the ASUS GTX 970 comes with FC Primal and The division?

  • Thanks! C20TECH worked for me at the dell store.
    Bought an Inspiron 7559 (960M!) at $1100

Even with this ebay sale, Galaxy s6 is still expensive.

CTECH worked for me for SONY MDRZX770BNB Wireless Bluetooth NFC Noise Cancelling Headphones (Black) Refurbished, 1 yr Manufacturer Warranty, from the Sony Store $123.18, free shipping.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281925624642

    Good timing for me.

    • Thanks for sharing. that's a good deal hope the refurb is good one

  • +2

    Grr no good phones now?

  • I was having trouble getting C20TECH to work.
Then realised many here are now using CTECH which worked for me.

My items from Kogan where discounted by 20% but binglee item wasn't discounted so I removed that item and continued with checkout.

Will buy a binglee item tomorrow and hope for the best :)

  • CTECH worked for me. Bought Sony 65" KDL65W850C $1516 + Shipping (or Free Click &Collect) @ The Good Guys. Thanks guys.

  • It worked for me as well. Bought sony 60" for 1116..

  • The good guys price match in store, wish i could i get the 20% off (ctech) in store, it is their own site, but it does say 'not eBay'
Has anyone had any luck getting the discount? Any ideas?
$60+ difference, that is a lot for her,
My friend must get price quotes from in store, St Vinnies is helping her finance it.

    • It's my understanding eBay covers a vast majority of the 20% off for The Good Guys. if not its entirety.
While eBay in-store can generally offer a better price than what is advertised on eBay. The 20% depending on the item will likely dig into TGG's profits and they are unable to offer this. (but you can go instore and try, if they have high margins on the item your looking for you might be in luck)
I'm pretty sure eBay recoup the discount they offer out of seller fees across their entire site incase your wondering where the free 20% off comes from.

I don't see any way of getting a price quote though eBay.
Once paid for, The Good Guys should give a tax invoice for the full amount excluding the 20% off if that's any help.

      So you order $100 item.
      You pay $80 with PayPal.
The Good Guys get $100, they invoice you the full $100.
      But you only pay $80.

Unfortunately I'm not sure how you can get a quote other than.
Sending them a link to the eBay page.

But I assume with the quote, you get the quote. St Vinnies pay and you can collect your item.
Not entirely sure how their service works. But if this is the case I cannot see any way of getting that kind of quote.

      • Thanks

  • CTECH works on Teds Cameras

  • CTECH worked for me, bought iPad Air 16GB for $383.2, checked credit card transaction, the amount matches, received TGG order confirmation email after 20mins, but the amount was $477 on the email? Fingers Crossed :-D

    • Yeah that's fine. We bought a TV from TGG on one of the eBay sales about a year ago. TGG invoice says the full amount, not the discounted.

      • Great!!!! Thanks!!!

  • +1

980ti is back up on kogan but had to use CTECH to avoid paypal error

    • aannnd its gone

oh well wait for tomrorows stock

      • still three available showing for me. Is it worth an extra $100 for the MSI980ti 6g?

        • -1

well i was looking only at the evga ftw

but no evga 980tis to be seen now so quite happy with the $796 i paid for the ftw

      • it's back.

        Picked it up for $780.

        • +1

nice one; a steal. I bought the MSI for $878.

        • @art vaandelay:

          yeah, I'm pretty stoked.

        • @skazclaw:
          what are you upgrading from?

        • @art vaandelay:

GTX780 sli. It will be a big improvement since I don't think Rift/Vive games support SLI very well. Plus my 780's were only 3gb, and I was limited by that since I am running at 1440p.

  • Got a Dyson V6 for $356 C'n'C using CTECH code http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141854889658

  • i got paypal error any idea says unfortunately your payment is declined

    • I got the same message but the money seems to have been taken out of my credit card and I received an email from PayPal confirming my payment.

      • mine has no deduction just error. f…g paypal

  • CTECH is the way to go it seems

  • +1

    Yup CTECH.

Sony 55" LCD TV just $876. Bargainnnn

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141724825718

    • doesn't work, item not available when trying to pay with paypal.

      • The 55" Sony went through for me using CTECH and PayPal.

      • Sorry not sure then, worked for me. Pickup my TV tonight.

        • thanks for the reply. i tried a different store for pick up, and it worked. guess it was sold out at the other store.

  • Purchased a TV from Binglee 1 hour ago. What are my chances to cancel the order and get a full refund?

    • I suggest contacting them ASAP.

  • Wow, great timing, my old robotic vacuum cleaner broke down yesterday and was going to buy a new one, just bought Roomba 630 for $374 from Binglee using CTECH!
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/161953779747

    • How good are these? I was going to get one for the house but didn't realise they cost so much!

      • +1

With three kids honestly a robot vacuum cleaner was one of the best thing we had ever bought, they are excellent on hard floors (wooden/tiles) but for the carpet you have to spend a bit more (as I have just done now). Initially I bought a cheaper one from groupon ($180 something) X550, lasted more than a year with 2-3 times used daily, now when it is broken (it was our fault btw) I decided to go for Roomba 630 which as per the reviews also work good on the carpets (x550 wasn't that good on long pile carpets).

  • I need a fridge & freezer around 600+ litres, from The Good Guys which brand should I get and which brand not to buy ?

    • I think you'll have to look on whirlpool to get some more opinions and you need to consider your family size, and whether the fridge can fit in the space.
After conducting my own research, I ended up buying the panasonic 554L bottom mount fridge.
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Panasonic-Bottom-Mount-Fridge…
I was deciding between this and the Australian Made Westinghouse Bottom Mount Fridge 530L on clearance for $1350 at Masters. I cant seem to find the link anymore.
      The deciding factors are:
Panasonic is larger for the future… oh and for any ozbargain pizza/ice cream deals :P
I was able to get it for cheaper than the Westinghouse. It's now even cheaper with the 20% = $1183, so cant win them all :(
Vegetable drawer: We waste a lot of uneaten veggies so this fridge will keep veggies fresh for longer. It actually does work!
      It's more energy efficient.
it's fit in our fridge cavity perfectly.
Bonus Tupperware ($280 worth) was the icing on the cake

      Disadvantages:
There are feedback on Whirlpool that suggests the fridge makes a low hum. The bedroom is far from the fridge so I've had no issues so far.
It's made in Thailand. Nothing wrong with that, I'm just patriotic and prefer things made here. My folks have Australian made Westinghouse Fridges for decades and they are still going strong.

I've heard you should avoid Samsung.
I was going to go french doors, but it wouldn't fit into our fridge cavity.
I believe Bottom mount fridges are more practical. (Have used side by side and top mount in the past)
In summary, it depends on you. Do u want side by side, french, top or bottom mount?

Just bought A Breville "The Oracle" BES980 coffee machine RRP$2499
Got it for $1758.40 from the good guys with the 20% discount code CTECH
    Been waiting awhile for this!

    • I did the same! Breville did tell me that there will be a promotion in April though for the machine (couldn't tell me any specifics though) but it would seem pretty hard to beat this deal, even if it is the $250 cash back that they had last year.

      • That would be so good!

        • The price went down $75. They refunded me the difference though.

    • I got the Barista! I couldn't stomach the cost of the Oracle. Did you consider getting the Barista?

      • Weird they don't have the dual boiler any more. Surely it was their biggest seller.

        • I did a quick google but I couldn't find out if the plastic water tank at the back gets heated to a boiling temperature. Any idea if it is?

        • @Bunnyburger: On the dual boiler? Definitely not. Its just a reservoir to get the water from into either the boiler for the grouphead or for the steam wand. Of course since Good Guys don't currently have it for sale on ebay all a bit trivial.

      • I wanted the oracle as an alternative to a fully automated coffee machine which leaves a lot of mess to clean with milk through the tubes, etc and too lazy to work a manual lol The oracle grinds and Tamps coffee and steams the milk externally. Only water goes through the machine. Plus this is cheaper than a lot of the fully automated machines anyway
