NSW Students get it free as well, the full Professional not Home and Student. Plus many Businesses that use a certain number of copies make it possible for staff to purchase Pro version for $15. This is called the Home Use Program. Check it out at http://www.microsofthup.com

  • get a cheap copy Through family/friend whos a student or government worker to get you a key code - they are entitled to one each year

  • be careful before you spend the $$$, note this is the previous version and many universities have free access to office 365. UWA definitely does

They're also selling Office Pro Plus, which is a Volume License only product, for $168.80

NO way is this legit. Standard distie buy on this is approx $630 ex GST…

    • Also curious about this, Windows 10 Home is only $79.90. It's digital, but I've seen other places selling digital at prices ranging $140 to $180, wondering why so cheap?

Yes I know I can free upgrade, have already done that, but I need a new license for a new machine.

It's pretty obvious that much like that popular Reddit subforum, that they're reselling MSDN keys. People can argue all day about the keys working fine, and they probably do, but they are not sold under the terms that they are licensed for, and MS doesn't get any money. It's no different to pirating except buyers may have some feelgood factor because they are kidding themselves that it is legit because they paid for it.

          Thanks for that explanation.
I won't be buying as I would much rather a legit version (even if I have to pay more for it)

  • even $162.90 for MS Home and Business 2016 is extremely cheap (wholesale is $220). Has anyone bought from these guys before?
