  • is the 99c for the first month, only for this month and is it $1.99/month if you sign up later (when you need it)?

  • Thanks OP, just what I needed for my holiday in May!

"turns out it covers all states in US"
so not like ours where even Sydney is divided into 2 separate memberships.

  • Although I can access via the website, some deals are mobile only.
The APP is region restricted, I couldn't work out a way to install it through Google Play (says none of my devices are valid)

create google play US account to install your app

Thanks OP! I moved to Seattle about a month ago but for some reason I can't stop checking on OzBargain (as well as SlickDeals)! Glad I did.

  • So I'm going to us in late April/ early May. Should I wait until April then to sign up?

  • I assume Hawaii is included?

Cheers, didn't even know there was an entertainment book for the US

  • I can get anything. It keeps telling me my cart is empty when I select digital subscription - anyone help

    • It appears as though certain areas cant be used. Tried Bay area and go nothing, then tried Los Angles and i could sign up

  • Hi guys,

Thanks for this - also going to the USA in may.

Any one have any other ideas for discounted tourism stuff in the following areas??

    • San Francisco
    • Vegas
    • Yosemite
    • Los Angles
    • Vancouver
    • Banff
      • Interesting. Seems like the best $20 you could spend. Have you tried yourself?

3/4 times successful (Paris Red Room x3, NYNY failed). All from cheapest base rate at the time, not staying Fri/Sat nights.

        • +1

Venetian, Palms, Planet Hollywood were all successful
Just be cool, "hey have you got any complimentary upgrades available?" while handing over the sandwich

    • If you had a car and were planning on driving around the San Fran area, you could go to Fairfield CA (~1 hour drive) and do a couple of factory tours - Jelly Belly jelly beans (free) and Budweiser ($5pp).

      http://www.jellybelly.com/california-factory-tours
      http://www.budweisertours.com/locations/fairfield-california…

Los Angeles - Free tickets to be in the TV studio audience for some shows - https://1iota.com/Tickets - but you need to monitor that site like a hawk since they don't put up any new dates for ages, then wham - three weeks of tickets in a burst and they can be snapped up quickly.

Vegas - There are many free things to do, and you will pick up discount books once you arrive which offer weird things like 50% off buffet if you're in the door before 3pm, or $1 frozen margaritas / foot long hot dogs. Do your research based on your hotel and you will figure out where you need to be for each of the various free shows on The Strip (e.g. Bellagio fountains, Treasure Island pirate show). There are also free things inside casinos such as the lions inside MGM. Walking through the Venezia is wonderfully disorienting - it's internally constructed to look like you're walking around outside in Venice, and the effect is obviously fake, but good enough to mess with your body-clock a little.

  • Is there anyway to get a US iTunes account so I can get the app without buying a US iTunes card?

  • Hello,

What a great deal, good find!

Can you tell me, how did you purchase this without a US billing address? I can't get past the customer info/payment page without a US address.

    • Just locate an address using google. I used a mixture of 2 addresses of friends . Street from one and town from another and it worked. Just remember the ziup code you used as its going to be needed later

  • How do you access the app when you are in Aus? Google play keeps saying not available in your region…

    • once installed you don't need to be in the US to open the app. Installing the app requires you to sign up for a US based Google account. In my experience that just required me to proved a US phone number - which I got (free) via the Hushed app. Allows Google to send you a couple of text messages. I signed up while I had my phone connected via VPN to the US as well (using my existing GBP2/year VPN service from VPN.sh sourced on OzB) maybe that helped. Off to US tomoz, so hope I get to use at least one coupon!!

  • hey guys just want to check how to cancel this online?

I couldn't use it while in US, as I couldn't install the app and even when I tried to sideload it with the APK it kept crashing. Tried my normal google account while on hotel wifi in US still would not install via Google Play

    Edit: Found this. https://answers.entertainment.com/customer/en/portal/article…

Also make sure you cancel at least 5 days before it expires, else they will charge you again!

"If you do not want to renew your membership, you must cancel more than five days before the end of your initial billing period (or any renewal period) in order for cancellation to take effect before the next billing period."
