Sigma Zoom 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C Lens, Canon Mount, $1049.91 Delivered @ Teds eBay

CTECHIE

Beg, borrow, mortgage, steal, sell yourself, do what ever you can for this amazing zoom lens! Zoom and quality equals lots of money and weight, but the Sigma 150-600 C version of this lens is a good compromise. This is the Canon mount version.

A fantastic review here - http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Sigma-150-600mm-f…

  • The bigma

    • A nice size, but compared to other 600s, me thinks not too bad. Plus Sigma have totally picked up their game with their art and contemporary series.

      • Indeed, I have a Nikon body but 80% of my lenses are Sigma..

  • Excellent price. Only if I need it.

  • I have one. It's a very good lens especially for the price.

    • -1

What do you use it for ?
All I can think of is
      - wildelife (esp. birds)
      - outdoor sports
      - planes
I do not mind doing all of them except outdoor sports but I cannot justify $1000+ for something which would be less than 1% of my photos.

It is a wonderful lens at the excellent price but I do not think I need one. Shame on me.

      • Everything you just said

      • Cool story bro.

      • A percentage based argument for use of a lens is a failed one. 99% of todays photos are from smart phones, but 99% of print worthy photos IMO are from DSLRs with real lenses.

        • I meant the same DSLR camera but different lenses :
          Canon 24-105 F4 : 80% of my photos / $650
          Sigma 18-35 F1.8 : 19% of my photos / $700
Canon 70-300 : 1% of my photos / $250 (purchased second hand in a very good condition)
this lens which will presumably substitute the Canon 70-300 : 1% of my photos / $1050 - can I justify it ?

Someone else may have completely different profile.

Again : "It is a wonderful lens at the excellent price".

        • @Foma2: second hand prices? You won't get an Australian 24-105 f4 for much less than $1000. Which is a great lens, one of my favs.

Its hard to find an affordable zoom lens of high quality but becoming more affordable.

        • I got it a while ago from DWI when they had it on sale.

        • @Foma2: ah yes, import price. The good thing about this Teds special is Australian Stock

        • For sure.
As I said before if you want a lens like this grab this one. You won't regret.

  • +1

    bought one

    thanks

  • Just got this and it came with a free monopod! Score!
