Basically a $29 fingerprint remover. Burn baby burn…

    • Oh, i bought some of these last week and they are awesome for the car stereo instead of a big stick poking out… But yes, just dont touch them without some heat proof gloves after they have been in any USB slot… I bought it to be fitted 99% of the time anyway, the form factor is great.

      • I never understood why they moved away from rear USB input for car stereos.
Feeding a USB cable to your glove box seems a better idea than having a USB stick poking out the front of your head unit.

    • lol!!! +1

Shame it only went down $4. I was hoping for low 20's to give it a go. Performance seems OK, but I worry too much about people saying it gets too hot.

    • It does get REALLY hot, probably not for a long term usage, periodically usage the best…

'Today only'…. One could say a 'flash' sale…..cough

  • Sounds like Samsung ones are better. Can't fry an egg on them.

  • I got 3 of the 32 gig ones from HN a while back and they dont get hot.

  • Yeah I'm scared to use mine because it gets pretty hot.

This seems better for $22.80 after CTECHIE discount. Actually I think I'll post this on OzB…

  • whats with all these ppl complaining it gets hot, i got the 128gb version of this and sure it gets warm, hot is when u touch it and have to drop it cause its unbearable, is everyone pulling these out and placing it against their cheek or something, ppl should stop over exaggerating.

    • The two that I got get hot. They get to a point where when you pull them out after they have been fitted for a while that they are hot, as in to the point where your first instinct is to want to drop it. Also to a point where my daughter who is 4 and loves to remove USB sticks, I have to tell her no with these ones. Burn hot, no. Shock the shit out of you not expecting it to be up around the cup of tea type of hot, yes. I work as a boilermaker and handle "hot" things every day, so I know hot. Trust me, these things get more than "warm".
