You're mistaken. Metro in fact have the same catalogue specials as regular Woolworths supermarkets.

Right, of course. They are smaller stores so they don't stock the same items. But if the item is sold at a Metro store and it is on special in the catalogue, then it will be on special at the metro store.
Evidently, they also now have their own Metro-specific specials in addition to the general Woolworths specials.

I live near a Metro store, I can say they have "some" catalogue specials & some of their own specials.
So not as good as normal stores specials!
