    Why does it say $32.45 posted, not $29.95, when I try?

  • And how can you +1 your own deals?!

    • +1

      As a retailer, you're held to a higher standard…whereas private user posts automagically get a +1.

  • Just be aware of the potential shipping times with this listing if you want it at the advertised price:

    Delivery: Estimated between Mon. 21 Mar. and Wed. 30 Mar.

    If you want it faster it obviously won't end up as cheap:

    Use Express Postage to get it by 23 Mar.
    Express Post $8.95 1 - 2 Business Days

      We know how much you sing SOS's praises, however all shipping quotes on eBay are the same, they use Aus Posts estimated dates.

      You realise SOS only dropped $8 off their price because of my research? Funny that.

        Jeez mate, a bit defensive there, no need to take it so personally, nobody would deny that you did well finding this, but people do need to be aware of any potential caveats with any deal…wouldn't you agree?

          It's personal when a rep pretends to be ignorant just to dismiss a point. (And here when it was clearly linked to earlier in the thread)

          @Spackbace:

          It's personal when a rep pretends to be ignorant just to dismiss a point.

          Wow, I'm not sure if you truly realise just how dysfunctional that actually sounds…time to take a few steps back bro, you're getting all emotional over nothing really.

        • @StewBalls:

          Believe what you want, the world looks different with rose coloured glasses on.

        • @Spackbace: One point about ebay, the shipping is not all the same. There are a variety of services. I'm not directly involved but I have personally seen as many as 20 options available. And only sellers that choose the simplest ones will be the same. The other thing that changes it is the amount of Handling days a seller chooses. This can vary from zero through to 30, I think. This will vary shipping quotes (in terms of time) by between zero and as many as 30 days…from memory! (That's a huge difference)

          So Stewballs correctly points out that we're much faster.

          May I (very) politely also ask why you're so angry? I don't quite get it, sorry. You're right about two things though: You correctly pointed out that our PS4 deal was better. Wow what a price difference! To be frank, we don't usually check this store for price comparisons, so it came as quite a surprise how much they're charging for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

          On that note, another thing you correctly pointed out was that Selling Out Soon's Xbox One deal was better. In addition, thank you for your good research. Because the best value is obviously very important to OzBargainers, so we changed our PS3 and Xbox 360 deals to reflect that.

          Thanks again. Nobody is against you Spackbase :)

          @sellingoutsoon:

          Not exactly how it works.
          Standard delivery is '1 to 6 business days' on eBay, and can't be changed. As such, it uses that for all your items to show buyers 'when to expect'.

          We are based in Adelaide, and any on-site stock (which is all of our video games) is dispatched same day as long as the order is placed by 1pm or so. So if you order it in the morning, you'll receive it the next day if it's an overnight delivery by standard post to you from Mile End (SA).

          Or you can come and pick it up (gotta order through the site however).

          Cheers,
          Wade

        • @Wade: Hi Wade :) yes ebay delivery can be changed to a heap of things, but there is a world of difference between flat-rate and calculated "shipping", hence:

          about ebay, the shipping is not all the same. There are a variety of services. I'm not directly involved but I have personally seen as many as 20 options available. And only sellers that choose the simplest ones will be the same

          I'm not involved in the ebay side of things, maybe you should ask your staff who are, they'll tell you — if they know, of course! :)

          • While I've got you Wade, is your Xbox 360 and PS3 stock Australian version, or import?

          He directly replied to you earlier, with the answer to that question…

        • @Spackbace: Thanks Spackbase, sorry I didn't see that. Although in fairness, that was on our post, not this one.
