That does not help those with Bank issued cards.

        • +1

maybe cause bank issued cards dont have this offer

  • Got the email saying i qualified for the $15

Will hopefully land in my account before the weekend.

    • cos you gonna cut loose with that $15 bro?

      • +1

        Don't be a fool all your life…

  • I bought an egift card also, got the email from amex, I'll let you know if it gets credited. No tracking from cashrewards tho…

    • Can the eGift card used at Woolworths also, or is it only for Dan Murphy?

Edit: I just saw others' comments that i can be used

  • It doesn't take me to the sign up page? does anyone have the actual link?

  • Oh well, no manual link this time, only 1 card has the offer. Less spend.

    • +2

I registered each of my supplementary cards for online login and managed to save the offer for each card.

      • Only Amex issue card right ?

      • Can you let us know when you actually get the cash back on your supplementary please?

Im already loaded up on big w gift cards would hate to buy a DM card on my supp only to find there was no Cashback.

        Thanks in advance :)

        • I still have DM e gift cards from the last offer so I was thinking to only buy them towards the end of the offer b4 the 4th April, just so that they come up on the next cycle of my Amex statement thus maximising my interest free days ;)

In that sense I am probably not going to be the first one who will report if there are any issues with this deal. I think the risk of not getting the cash back here is not using supp cards but the purchase of e-gift cards itself. If cash back is allowed for the registered principle card, the same should be expected for the registered supp cards. The key is to use a card that has successfully saved the offer.

Nonetheless, I will sure report back on my progress once I commence my transactions.

        • Last chance today taking up the offer. Just as my Amex statement ticked over to a new cycle. Purchased 3 x $100 on DM e gift cards (2 on sup cards + 1 on principle card, all registered for the offer). Each tracked for CR at $6 each. Got Amex email re the $15 cashback shortly after purchasing each one.

Will report back once I get the statement credits - expecting them by Wednesday morning, fingers crossed :)

          @Mcz:

Hey! Thanks for the reply. Yeh i ended up buying more. Both tracked with CR and got the amex email. Smiles all around. Especially if CR actually pays out the $6!

I wonder at what point I'm gonna have too much WW gift cards to spend o_0 lol

        • @CheapskateQueen: I wondered about that too and so decided not to wipe out this deal with all my sup cards. At the rate of the last 2 deals, Amex might come up with another once this one is over ;)

I am still trying very hard to spend those I got from the last deal. Luckily Woolies had the starter packs deal which helped a little. With these gift cards, I have been trying to shop at Woolies but still unable to complete without getting back to Coles which I prefer, unfortunately.

        • @Mcz:

Statement credits all received, incl for sup cards. A day later than expected though :)

Nice! Gonna be able to get 7x$15 discounts and paying a total of $595 for $700 value, less some cashrewards!

  • 3xAbsoluts @ $29ea :)

$100 DM e-gift card purchased on 21 March, $15 credit showed up in my AMEX transactions summary this morning 24 March

    • Good stuff…. So what is taht 1 2 3 4 days?

      • I brought $100 DM e-gift card on 21 March around 8pm, the credit has not show up in my Amex transactions yet. Will check again tomorrow and update everyone.

        • +1

HI all, confirmed received statement credit of $15 on 25/3.

    • Same as bauser99 (except the first time I tried to buy it, the transaction failed, but still got the congratulations for qualifying e-mail).

    • -1

So you received the actual $15 credit in your account? I purchased the same day, but so far only received the

" Thank you for using Amex Offers with your Card ending XXX at DAN MURPHY'S ONLINE. If your purchase meets the offer terms, you will receive a $15 credit. Credits usually take 5 days to appear on your account upon completion of your qualifying transaction, but may take up to 90 days after the offer has ended."

      • "$15 credit showed up in my AMEX transactions summary"

  • Is there manual link to register bank issued card?

  • digital gift card bought on 21/3, statement credit showed up end of today \o/

  • +1

For bank Amex cards, doesn't seem to show on Amex connect.

  • My suspicion is that the 15,000 cards quota has been reached hence the offer not available on Amex connect. Just so we may help those with bank issued Amex cards, could anyone here please report back if you have managed to save the offer for your cards (thru Amex online or the App) on and after 24 March?

    • +1

I can confirm this doesn't appear on AMEX connect, but does appear on AMEX "My offers" for my direct-AMEX cards including supplementary cards that have their own login. All done today, so definitely nothing to do with the quota.

  • Bought the DM gift card, got the $15 credit, time to buy some more on the supplementary cards

    • Don't forget to register each one of the supplementary cards individually…

  • I registered them all back in November for the shop small. I've got seven cards all up!

    • You have to claim each deal on each card each time.

  • How does the digital gift card works?
Do i have to spend it online or i can use it in store?

    • +1

Works both online or instore, same as a Wish eGiftcard.

    • +1

      works in-store and online

when you buy it, they'll send you an email with the instructions.
i've used mine to pay for fuel at caltex woolies

      • The e-gift card is only accepted at Woolworths Caltex. Not Caltex Woolworths.

        • oh noes! someone tell fuelwatch they've got it all back to front.
          http://www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au/fuelwatch/pages/home.jspx?rvn…

i'm sure people can figure out that the e-gift card can be used at caltex servos with woolworths branding

        • @tdw: Actually, it is more correct to say that the e-gift card is always accepted at Woolworths Caltex, and is only accepted at participating Caltex Woolworths. e.g.
Chatswood - Eastern Valley Way is participating
Chatswood - Pacific Highway is non-participating

in store, you type in a 10 digit number and 4 digit pin

  • So can anyone confirm that they have successfully received a cashback on a supplementary card from this offer? Thanks :)

    • +1

      Yes I can confim 100%

      • +1

        As can I.

  • I don't see this offer, expired?

    • if you don't see it, it's likely because this offer has reached the 15,000 card limit. for those who have saved it to their card, they have until 4/4 to take advantage of it

From experience, there have been past deals meant to be for american express issued cards only.

Only when OZb lovely community shares a manual link is when my bank issued amexs can reap the benefits of some of these awesome deals.

In summary (from my experience) it has lead me to believe manual links are required for bank issued amexs to register for these deals.

I am in no luck for tapping into this deal with my bank issued amexs.
Amex issued amexs not a problemo.

    • Yep, forumninja is pretty good at getting the manual enrollment link.
Beaware these offers are targeted sometimes, and even I have to use the manual enrollement link.
Maybe signup to a fee free amex card then you can get these deals (on top of your bank issued card)

Ordered two $100 DM digital voucher through cashrewards, first one had expected cashback of $6 and the other only $3 :(. The latter I paid for with the view cart button as it was already in the cart, whereas the first one I went through the process of creating the digital gift card and paid immediately.

I wonder if that's the reason for the difference…

    • I have experienced varying amounts of cashback with the giftcards too. I thought it had something to do with the dollar value but yours were both the same so that rules that out.

    • I had similar experience in the past.
Purchased 2 X $80 gift cards.. got $4.8 for the first one and $2.4 for the second.

    • Bought 3 $100 DM digital gift cards today - all tracked by cashrewards at $6 each (6%).

My previous purchases in Feb got tracked by CR at varied rates (7% and 6%) but all got approved/paid at end March 2016. Much sooner than the estimated 3 months wait. My first ever payment received from CR - all went smoothly.

  • Wait.. this hasn't ACTUALLY expired right? It says expires 4/4/2016 which is today.

I'm assuming this has been marked as expired only because the maximum enrolments was reached?

    • No, it hasn't expired. If you have saved the offer, you should be able to redeem today.
