Having a discount apply doesn't really make it a 'fixed price' now, does it?

Lol, prices listed for a 15k service on a 2015 Commodore V6 (which is $185 CPS) range from $211-$301

No wonder you can advertise 10% off

Wait till they you charge you for

      • wipers $55
      • rotation $45
      • alignment $120
      • "injector clean" $240 ("special new technology where we don't need to disassemble anything")
      • new brake pads $750 (they are only 30% worn but "might not last until the next service")
      • "you may as well change the rotors at the same time" $750

None of which you even remotely need, apart from a rotation which should be free or at most $5 per wheel.

  • Hi Spackbace,

All prices are set by the independent mechanics themselves so prices will different from suburb to suburb. If you open up the radius to 20km's I'm sure you will get a larger range of mechanics and pricing.

    Cheers,
    Peter

There's plenty of workshops listed, all of which are more expensive than servicing through the dealer.

Though they probably have no choice, what with paying your commissions.

Bloody expensive, basic service for my 2009 Mazda 6 is average $450 on the site. Which is twice as much for a normal logbook service I'm paying. Get out of town!!!

OP I don't want to give you personal information just to get a quote. I think your site will put people off.

  • I always thought that dealers are the expensive one but this website charges $120 more that Toyota dealer.Even Basic service is $50 more. Sorry no good for me.

  • My daughter tried these guys late last year for a big service on her Hyundai i30 - the best deal in Brisbane South through them was $1180 (up to $1250), and Keema Hyundai quoted $880 for the actual 6 year logbook service (included belts etc), so not exactly a deal when they were 30% dearer than the dealer. Complete waste of time. So the 10% will not help much if they start out 30% dearer.
