  • wow.Why are they doing the deal?

    • +11

      Buy first, ask later.

      • Too late for me.. but I did pick one up :) Thanks.

    • +1

Probably to get more out there because it uses crowd gps or something

  • Thanks OP, was just looking at this the other day. Didn't pull the trigger then based on some reviews but at this price I'm sold

  • +2

Have no use for this; didn't know anything about this — still bought before I asked any questions.

"WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs."
So I shouldn't get my child to swallow it so I can track him?

    • +3

Maybe give her a glass of water at the same time?

      • +1

He/She said "him" not "her" :D

Ship to Amazon parcel point location to save $1!

  • +3

Just bought one. No idea why.

  • +1

Shipping is $8.20 for me? Amazon Parcel Pickup Point made it $7.05 delivered for me!

  • Did not question, bought.
I gather it is like tile or similar?

  • Sorry. You are not eligible for this coupon.

    dafuq

    • lmao, sorry man..

  • sorry. you are not eligible for this coupon?

    • -3

      Me ? Why not ?

  • How long does the battery last on these things ?

    • I think it was a year jv.

      • on a CR1616… I find that hard to believe.

        • Yeah pretty skeptical as well, maybe 3 months up to 6 months at best

  • -2

I can't see any kind of coupon.
It just goes into my cart at $29.99, and then final price is $29.99 + postage.

    • +1

      go to http://www.amazon.com/Coupons/

type in TrackR into the search bar and you should see some search results

I found no coupon for the Bravo, only for the Wallet Trackr.

      • Same, can't find any coupons for the TrackR bravo. This offer seems to be targeted.

  • Also getting the Sorry you are not eligible for this coupon.

    • Sorry I only know that it worked for me. I suspect offer may be targeted unless it expired within an hour of OP.

The app on the Google play store has terrible reviews.

  • So i can attach this on my dog and track him on my phone/maps if he gets lost, whats the battery life on this and the radius of effect if someone knows, thank you :)

    • +1

That won't work very well unless your dog only hangs out near people with the app installed on their phone.

      • ill have the app on my phone, i just wonder whats the max distance between us so i could find him :)

      • +1

oh i get it now, weird little thing.

  • Still haven't gotten my free one. Never even went up in the queue after a year. And before anyone says "it was only available to people in the US", I had my delivery set to Shipito. IIRC it was claimed that it was just a mass personal detail harvest. Negging this due to major issues with retailer.

    • So what has that got to do with this deal?

      • +6

I have major issues with the retailer.

        • Ships from and sold by Amazon.com

          YOu have issues with Amazon?

  • no coupon!

  • +1

Not getting any discount/code on this

  • Worked for me….

    TrackR Wallet showing with $20 coupon (USD$29.99 -> 9.99 + 5.50 ship):

    • +2
    • Please the OP change the price to reflect the fact that $29 coupon isn't available. I bought with the $20 coupone nevertheless because I couldn't find if I need it or not.

  • +1

No coupon showing for me either.

  • +1

Must be targeted as not working for me either :(

  • +1

The coupon showed up in a strange way for me — add it to cart and look for a 'Clip it' button which is what applied the coupon for me.

  • Got one thanks OP.

  • +1

It might be targeted like those Amazon gift cards, where only some people are eligible for it.
It didn't work for me nor my gf.

  • +1

From what i can see.. if uve lost something and goes out of range .. good luck tracking it down. Unless soneone else with trackr picks up the bluetooth signal its unlikely youll be able to locate it.

But then again never underestimate the power of ozbargain i suppose. Im sure there is always an ozbargainer close by 😂

  • Thanks OP. Worked for me.

  • nothing for moi

Not a neg for the deal - but the product.

I bought 10 of these whilst they were on indegogo for USD 100 engraved (a good deal back then) and I am bitterly disappointed with the product.
The sound is not loud. The tracking feature is omnidirectional.

The battery doesn't last… my view is that this device was launched one technology iteration too early.

Does it do what is says on the box? Yes.
Is the user experience good - No

checkout the indegogo website for comments

Glad you recieved your order! I ordered back in 2014 with the same or similar deal, never recieved it, and had to follow up with them at 3 months, 6 months and finally 11month mark where I had enough and asked for a refund.

      • You are not missing much. I am using mine with the free engraving as an analogue marker (my number is on the back!)

a friend of mine is an electronics engineer (used to design mi$$ile guidance systems)
He got one as a gift, saw it was cr@p, took it apart (as they do) and realised there was no antenna (a complex item to build)… essentially, it is a reference design with the packaging around it and the antenna reference stuck to the shell… Woeful design.

    • I got a email from them today that they are doing free replacement batteries. You might want to take them up on that. Somehow I'm on their email list like 3 times. It must be from when they were handing out free ones from referrals (or said they were)

  • No joy here

  • Not seeing the coupon

  • +1

Not showing up for me, tried different IP address, different account, different devices, searching under amazon coupons. wallet tracker shows up though

  • Worked for me. Just had to click on the weird coupon button first then add the thing to my basket. Saying that, it's probably close to useless but for the price what the heck….

  • for those that are seeing the coupon - have u bought stuff from amazon recently?

I don't think ive bought anything from amazon for like a year since the USD went up

    • I bought something last year, my girlfriend had the account and completely forgot about its existence (I say she have not bought anything for a year at least). Both of our accounts showed up with no coupon.

    • I last ordered in 2012, and the coupon showed up for me.

  • Targeted offer no deal… Won't neg but yeah nothing for me.

  • +5

    Horrendous product, borderline scam.
Bought three, all had flat batteries. Replaced batteries on two, they lasted for a week. Complained, never heard from them.
Intermittent functionality, works sometimes but more often does not.
When it does work….map inaccurate, distance negligible and sound too quiet to be of use.

    • +3

yep, bought 5 for the wife. They are rubbish.

  • Gutted.. I last ordered on Amazon many years ago but no coupon displayed…
I also tried a new account but still no coupon…

    Good luck guys

  • +1

I've tried this link 4 times in different browsers and devices and the coupon turns up each and every time :)

    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0107OAJ7C

  • Bought one. A$7.09 for a pickup point.

  • +1

Thanks going to hide this in my bosses car - then I can go to the pub when he's at meetings and get back if he's on his way back.

  • Can anyone post a pic of where the coupon shows up? Does the pop-up happen automatically or do you need to click something? I can't see it but want to be sure.

  • Have tried two different Amazon accounts and the coupon doesn't seem to be showing up in either.

  • +2

I preordered these and when they came they were near silent when they rang. These are crap, save your money.

  • Another crowdfunded over-hyped piece of junk, for the most accurate reviews check their comments page:

    https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/trackr-bravo-the-thinnest…

  • Well, mine arrived yesterday. So far it seems to be fine - it's thin and is way better made than the "anti-lost" devices you can get off eBay etc. The alarm is definitely quiet, but is better than nothing and it's thin enough to slip into a wallet. Is it worth the RRP - no way. But less than $10 delivered? Yes, I think that's fair. If it was that price normally, I'd get a whole bunch of them.
