    TL;DR: It's a decent oil to have handy when high temp cooking, but for other uses stick with Virgin Olive Oil.

    Sorry if this is a silly question but what type of cooking is rice bran oil usually used for? I've never used it. Does it have better flavour? Used for deep frying?

      Apparently better for non-stick pans due to a higher smoking point.

      We use rice bran oil as our only oil for cooking. Any meat in the fry pan etc. And then olive when you want to add a flavour (ie roast vegies)
