I've seen most the shows PromoTix has to offer. Both free and paid. I'd recommend Simon Taylor to anyone interested in going but can only pick one.

Otherwise, all but a few have been great. The ones at the Bull & Bear Tavern are good fun and worth the laugh.

  • can some1 tell me how does one get tickets for the "Comedy Gala" they have before the Festival officially starts? I never see tickets advertised for that event.

    • I think the gala normally sells out pretty quick

      • You need to become a member of ticketmaster, then you will get the presale emails. I got tickets a few years back, they came out in november or something. Saying that the last couple of years of the gala have been going downhill…

Went to Tom Green live over the weekend. Two tickets for $3 admin fee (plus the $35 p.a membership fee). For something that's selling for $45 it's well worth it. Been to three shows already, and going to another couple this week

Thanks OP, checked out Simon Taylor tonight (29th) at the Traders Hall. Hilarious.
Was in a small room so was an intimate show as well.
Highly recommended if you're looking for something to see.
