Full credit and thanks to Pacbough for the code. I thought I had found a deal on this powerbank before I decided to have look at past deals, where I stumbled upon his comment.

The previous deal only lasted for 10 hours between 1am-11am so I thought that this was worth a mention for those that missed it (I certainty did)

  • Great price, thanks ozbangood

  • Great Power Bank, and I trust Banggood

  • Why do they say 5.1V? I thought USB was meant to have 5.0V

    • +2

USB 1 and 2 spec is 5v +- 5% which is 4.75 to 5.25v, so 5.1v is with USB specification.

      • +1

I see. So what's the advantage of 5.1V on the powerbank?

        • +23

to allow pointless discussion on an online bargain comments section

        • Don't forget to also mention the "Xiaomi Officail Product Authentication"

Im still waiting for the official link

  • +3

Nice, I hope it works better than this one. http://imgur.com/Uc7SmPk

    • I haven't seen sandbanks since before Xiaomi power banks were first introduced.

      • +1

Thought it was chopped up weed at first glance.

        • The colour isn't quite right for it to be chopped up weed ;)

  • Thanks op, I'll grab one. Was holding out for a 20000mAh deal but this is sufficient

  • Good deal. Just be mindful of shipping times when ordering. Ordered mine at the start of March and it arrived last week.

  • Mine comes out at $21.17. How come?

    • +1

Not sure, here's a picture of what I'm seeing: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/158680/38430/xiaomi3.p…

      Maybe:
-Did you select silver? (Gold & Red are more expensive)
      -Did you apply coupon?
-Did you choose 'no tracking' for shipping?

      • +3

All good- had something else in my cart from like 6 months ago. Ha.

  • How long is delivery usually?

    • Depends where the stock is coming from. Usually a little over 2 weeks for me, longest I think was about 3 and half weeks.

  • Does anyone have experience with Banggood shipping times? I am based in Melbourne and need this for a trip which I leave for on the 20th of April.

Would that be enough time in the experience of others who have ordered from Banggood?

    • 20th april is cutting it very close. Though I did receive one package from Banggood in two week's time, but I think that was unusual

    • I'm in Sydney and mine took over 30 days to arrive last time I ordered a powerbank…

    • Banggood stuff can easily take 4-6 weeks. Takes ages but it will arrive eventually.

    • My last 2 orders took 2 and 3 weeks to Sydney

      • my last two orders in Dec took 20 to 24 days to Sydney

    • buy it locally

    • +1

Thanks for all the feedback on delivery times. I will not risk it for this trip and try to buy something local.

      • You can try Mushtato they are Australian and are a little more expensive but they are very good on delivery on time and dont take that long…

        • The rep from Mushtato has been promissing that a deal is just around the corner.

        • @trev likes bargains:

Yeah cheers . Reading the last few posts in recent deals and Facebook posts it would appear we might see a deal from them real soon.

  • thanks mate , got one

  • Thanks OP, got one. Along with the Soldering iron starter kit I had been eyeing.

  • +1

Be wary with this company guys. Sent me faulty pistons and wouldn't replace. Atrocious customer service.

    • +2

      paypal dispute it

    • I got a full refund on a faulty dash cam. The process involves taking a video but apart from the waiting for a response wss the most painful part

  • +1

Is anyone spending another AU$1.72 for a tracking number?

*and an extra $2 for colour, makes it easy to find.

    • Damn it I ordered pink but just realized I need to get a coloured silicon case for it anyway to stop it falling out of my unco hands all the time. Could have put that $2 towards the case instead, lol.

  • I finally caved in and grabbed a Xiaomi power bank of my own. These things just keep on getting cheaper. Nice.

  • got one thanks, i'm assuming they are not fake?

  • Thanks OP. I got one.

  • GOT ONE!! :D

  • Anyone tells me which is the better option? - This one for $19 or the 16000mAh for $38?

    • +1

The 16,000 mAh is way too heavy. It's like carrying a brick around in your bag.

      GO the 10,000

      • +1

Yeah, i've seen the photo of these two but this one only has one USB port. The other one has 2. So hard for me to decide because i travel and have multiple devices to change. :(

        • +3

          Why not buy 2x 10,000mAh.

        • @Cheap Skate: It's bigger and heavier then :)) Anyway, thank you for your suggestion. I decided to buy the 16k one.

    • +1

Can confirm that the 16k mAh powerbank is heavy AF.

  • Thanks OP - Got 2 one for me, one for the misses. These things are awesome!!

Hope they aren't fake though. Mushtato is still selling them for $33 each so 2 for $39 shipped is a bargain for sure!!

  • Given that the coupon code is not on the Cashrewards website I am assuming that we will not get any cashback ?

  • Brought one.. Thanks.. :)

    • +7

You sure are making use of its portability by bringing it around with you.

    • Brought one.. Thanks.. :)

      Where to?

  • I don't own or have not jumped on the powerbank frenzy yet what are these good for charging all your gadgets?
Do you need extra cables etc or use you devices cables to use.
I believe there are many versions of these more power etc why this one?
What can this do in terms charging your gadgets how many different item on one charge.
Would it not be the bigger the better?
Someone said fakes does this company sell fakes?
Never needed one of these before but imagine good when in a long flight could charge up gadgets

    • +3

They are good because you can charge them on the go.
They provide you with a cable to charge the device which is the standard android one so you can use it for both if you have android.
This one is a good balance between power and size as well as a reputable cheap brand
This one can charge 1 at a time only
The bigger one has 2 ports but is literally the size of a brick
Banggood sells the original Xiomi ones

  • Ordered 2 silver bricks! cheers

  • Keeps telling me "This coupon has been used". I registered a new account- same thing

    • Looks like it was my IP address. I used my 3G (mobile) and I could order. Thanks

  • +1

Thanks! I wanted to order one last night!

  • -1

This is not the new slim 10,000mah, is it?

  • Bought a 20000mah from Deals Machine from the last deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/237088
Took around 3 weeks to arrive to Sydney.
Very happy with the purchase, And its surprisingly light!

    • +4

Being surprisingly light is not usually a good thing when it comes to large power banks..

  • +2

Also received the "This coupon could only be used 300 times" message. Anyone have any ideas?

  • +4

b9cb81 code is working again, though slightly more @ US$15.65/AU$20.73

  • +2
  • Thanks OP got one just before the code expired, Have been waiting for a new deal to come along but it's still a bit more then what I paid last August at $11.99 and that was for the Gold one.

  • Can these be charged while charging a device at the same time?
