    There is no information on the sites that I can find about any approvals!

    It requires at least two for Australia.

    Great concept, even better price, but it isn't (legally) going to happen in Australia and the listing should be removed.

    Looking at the circuit board design it is unsafe to use in Australia.

      Yes, I'm always astounded that people can have the skills required to design and manufacture a working board but apparently zero understanding or respect for safety or even just a couple of basic design rules regarding clearances and creepage. It's not rocket science.

      The creepage and clearance initially seemed OK, and the PCB is even slotted to separate some sections. I didn't look properly at the board up there where it's got that bridge rectifier and dropper circuit to power the electronics, but that part looks ultra-dodgy.

      Irrespective of that, I'd say it's still totally "illegal" since I saw absolutely no evidence of compliance with Australian Standards, let alone IEC, UL or anything else.

      In other words, I doubt any licenced electrician would risk their licence to install this.

  Thanks for the Sonoff recommendation! We've been looking for additional alternatives for wifi-controlled switches & lighting to add in addition and Sonoff looks very interesting. We'll add it to our list of requested devices.

      Yes I know you do but it only controls your product. Yonomi controls Hue, LIFX, Wemo, Harmony Hub, Sonos and several more with geolocation, timers, rules, macros etc.

      If Yonomi could control your product as well it would make your product much more flexible and appealing. Otherwise its just yet another separate product with its own single-purpose app that will wind up in a drawer.
