    is there any bargain here?

it is your normal online price.

Could you give us some discount to make this deal a bargain instead of a advertisement?

  • This price is a bargain, normal price on my site is $114.95. You won't be able to find it cheaper anywhere else :-)

Does it really cost anything like $100 for a plastic box with a 12v computer fan and a lightbulb (which you don't even supply)? It would be easy to build one with the same or better specs for $30 or less and take just a few minutes of effort.

Even at $20, I'd struggle to call it a bargain…

There are so many people buying from this website? notice pops up every 10 second said someone from somewhere in Australia have bought something and every time is different then went to another Website and it is the same.

I doubted it is 100% fake, if there are so many people buying from this site no need to advertise here.

  • This 'deal' again…..

  • Where do you get the light bulb? It needs the old fashioned ones that generate heat.

I don't think they are allowed to be sold in Australia.

Where do you get the light bulb?

      South Africa.

    • The energy saver ones works just fine, but if you want the incandescent light bulb they can be purchased from Masters

      • Why do the energy saver ones work? Do you not need heat?
If the energy saver ones work, what is their purpose?

        • It reduces the moisture.

        • @Biltongboks: if you are comfortable with death perhaps.

You need to drive the evaporation of surface moisture and migration of moisture to the surface.

You need warm dry air and plenty of it - not light.

It might dry out eventually with a cfl but you run the risk of pathogen growth with higher water activity in ambient conditions.

  • Looking at the dimensions of your box, after adding a light bulb there isn't much room.

South African diy biltong box. Looking at whats needed it shouldn't cost more than $30 and an afternoon to make a bigger better box. Faster than waiting for the postman and you will already be heading out to buy a lightbulb anyways.

  • I added a padlock to the one I built to stop my kids from 'sampling' every last strip.
