$100 AUD Xbox Live Credit for $68.91 AUD @ G2A

180

They're back! They've been unavailable for around a month now, but G2A once again has cheap $100AUD Xbox Live cards.
Go to the G2A link, change to AUD, and you should see a "Digital Key" for $72.33. Don't buy this - buy the one below, where it says "1 Offers from $65.75". Add that to your cart, untick the "G2A Shield" option, and then choose paypal to pay (which adds ~ $3 to the price).

I've just bought 3 with no problems - YMMV. I have no affiliation with the dealer (and in fact a general level of mild angst buying from sites such as G2A) so although my purchases worked out OK, there is a non-zero level of risk when buying from G2A. However, 3 successful transactions in a row suggests low risk.

Enjoy!

  • Just a heads up, can't use xbox credit to buy xbox gold.

Be wary about using G2A, they attempted to use my paypal to purchase things from hong kong without my consent.

    • thats a pretty big heads up!

Be warned, lots of G2A fans here.

          runs for the hills

Can you prove they used your PayPal account or are you just speculating. How did/would they get access to it and how do you know it was them and not any other malicious online party?

They can't use your PayPal account. Checkout is routed via PayPal express checkout which is secured by paypal. If your PayPal did get misused, you probably wrote that into in some phishing email or malware.

People have been warned many times here about the practices GTA fosters, but the prevailing attitude is: ""If it's not stolen from ME, it's not stolen!"

      • pretty much :/

  • Brought one the other day, worked perfectly. Already spent it. :(

games cost heaps on xbox live, more then in store so im wondering if I should buy this or not :(

  • Additional costAdditional cost
$4.68 for paying with paypal so makes it $70.

    • I paid $68.91 AUD for the three I purchased, which included the additional PayPal fee.

The additional cost was mentioned in my original post.

nevermind, using GKF coupon makes it cheaper

  • Other than dlc, what is the point of xbla credit?

    • You can also buy full games when there's xbox special (such as the Easter sale) from the xbox store, so you can double dip on the savings.

Otherwise it is better to buy the game at a cheaper region than use credits here and buy overpriced AU games…

      • I've been buying all digital games from the Aust. store due to the fact a don't like using discs. If I region change to get a cheaper price can I swap back to Australian region and still play?

        • you don't even need to change region in the console. Just use a VPN for the country you want to buy in, change the country at the xbox.com page and purchase.

        • @glassyan: hi. I've been trying to buy USA games for 2 years on my Xbox with no luck. I can change regions okay then download trials and they play fine bit will not let me purchase. There are many games they have that do not appear on the AU's store. Could you pls tell me exactly what I have to do to be able to successfully purchase on the USA store?
          Do I need USA credit?
What is and how do I change the VPN?
If would be f***ING great if I could get this working.
          Cheers

        • @riddick4: also might be easier to do the purchasing from a PC than the console itself. I've used method one in the whirlpool link without issue…couldn't be bothered using VPNs etc and it works fine from the US site. Not all regions have MS Stores that sell gift cards, but it's certainly an option for the US.

One thing to keep in mind is the exchange rate but. If you can get $100 AUD credit for $65AUD, in many cases you may be ahead buying from the AU store. Just double check prices in different regions first, as AU isn't always more expensive.

        • @Smigit: yeak I'll check it out. I mainly just wanna get the US store games that arent available here.

        • @cap_n: cheers mate I'll check it out.

One thing a lot of people don't seem to know about is that any digital purchases one XBL can be shared with one other XBO console. This works perfectly for me with 2 XBOs in the house and my son having his own XBL account (so he can play all the games I purchase with my account on his account, he can also share my XBOX Live Gold sub)…but with a level of trust you could have a similar arrangement with a friend, in another house/state/country … more info here:

  • Just got one and it worked fine….now contemplating getting a second. Hmmm.

    • Did yours sit at "pending" for ages after making the payment? Is that a normal G2A thing?

EDIT: All good, it just took about 20 minutes to finalise, redeemed codes just fine.

  • Whats peoples opinion on the protection thing? Worth it? I see a lot of bad press about these guys yet also a lot of successful results?

If you have an issue cant you just dispute with PayPal and be safe?

  • I can't vouch for this particular deal, but have bought Xbox live from here & sold a game on G2a and withdrawn the funds without any problems

  • Can this be used to purchase a 1 year groove music pass?

Managed to get it down to $65.81
Used the GKF discount code as mentioned above. 3% off for that.
To pay a lower fee, choose g2a pay at checkout. From there you still get to pick PayPal but can turn their shield off again to save another dollar.

Worked well and key redeemed instantly with no issues. Used "NADIA" coupon for 3% off. Thanks OP!

  • Would I be able to use this to buy gold in World of Tanks on the Xbox One does anyone know?
    Thanks.
