Free Benjamin curved plywood chair from Matt Blatt.

Available to the first 100 customers on Sunday 17 April 2016 at the Alexandria store in Sydney. One per household.

Instructions:
Be one of the first 100 customers on Sunday to walk into the front door of the Alexandria showroom and say 'Mr Blatt sent you' (I assume this is a misprint because this makes no sense - I think they meant 'Mr Blatt sent me.') to receive your free stool.

      Only decided to read the physical copy of Sydney Morning Herald now so the first day of the deal is over already.

      Deal doesn't appear to be advertised on the Matt Blatt website.

      Pretty good marketing ploy considering you'll probably buy another so you have at least two matching stools.

      just slap a “Matt blatt” name on replica designer chairs and charge 580% extra! Genius. Been in that shop, the whole shop is overpriced for modern designer replica furniture.

    My wife and I got one each.
    Only 'natural' colour given away.
    Got in store about 10:05 and had to queue for half an hour - two cashiers asking how we heard about the deal, phone number, address and if we had been customers before.

    My wife nearly lost the plot and bought something. Was a close call!

      That's weird, went in at 10:30 and all I had to do was go up to those people an tell them the password

        Yeah, I did notice that the queue was quite short after we were served.
        I expect that most people that knew about the offer tried to get there for opening time.
        The staff got a bit faster at processing customers too - some of the people at the front of the queue when we arrived seemed to be quite chatty at the desk. We were queued almost to the door. And didn't seem to move for a for a while.

        When I originally typed "half-an-hour" above I was just guestimating a rounded-off figure, but I took a photo of the item my wife was going to buy (she brought it to me when I beckoned her as I was nearing the front of the queue) and it was taken at 10:31, so half-an-hour would be pretty accurate after all.

        Funny that we would have been in the queue at the same time!
