  • Just noticed that ANZ and CBA are doing similar promotions, albeit smaller cashback. I guess this is the latest craze in banking!

    • This offer would be quite attractive if it wasn't so easy to get $250 from commbank

  • Used to be a year?

    • used to not be capped at $300 total cashback!

  • I have been looking for a decent 5% cashback card but if its only for 3 months I'm not sure its worth the hassle.
Citibank won't let me get theirs because I have an existing account.

    • I had targeted offer of 3% CB on an existing Citi Everyday Account recently.

Just stop using the account for a while…

  • Anyone managed to negotiate this deal for existing customers?

    • I had a really long chat with one of Bankwest staff a few months ago trying to weasel my way out of a credit card renewal fee with Bankwest.

The short of it is - Bankwest have zero options in terms of giving sweeteners to retain existing customers. They give no shits if you close up and move on - end of story!
