Hi all, this will put a smile on your faces if you own a Wii.

Was down at my local target this week and spotted clearances on Wii accessories (Pro Gamer and Sonic brands).

The clearance is initiated by head office according to staff, so you should be able to find these deals at your local Target store as well depending on stock availability.

I went hunting a few Target stores and noted the stocks available at Chadstone, Camberwell, Malvern, Forrest Hill Chase and Westfield Doncaster.

Some of the items worth mentioning are:

  1. 8-in-1 Sports pack for Wii $10.88 (RP $29.95) Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Wheel, Gaming Controller grip, Black carry bag. - Available in all above mentioned stores.

  2. Pro Gamer Wii HD Component cable + 2GB SD card for Wii $9.88 (RP $29.95) - Only available at Chastone (about a dozen left).

  3. Sonic The Hedgehog Wii Remote Charger + 2 Batteries (Wii Power piggyback type) $17.88 (RP $34.95) - Available in all above mentioned stores except Westfield Doncaster.

  4. Sonic The Hedgehog Wii Remote Charger + 2 Batteries (USB Power type) + Racing Wheel $14.88 (RP $39.95) - Available in all above mentioned stores except Westfield Doncaster.

  5. BladeFX Wireless Nunchucks $4.88 (RP $29.95) - Only available at Camberwell (about a dozen left).

Note Wii Motionplus does not fit in the 8-in-1 sports pack.

Note I tested the wireless nunchucks, did not work with Motionplus (Wii Sports Resort), but it works well with all other games.

There was other accessories on clearance as well like Wii Fit character pack, and lots of Dsi accessories.

Have a look at the last chance Easter clearance section as well, stuff like Transformers Clocks for $2.50, Chugington plush pull-back train with egg $1.49. I picked myself a 1KG easter egg for $2.99 ! Mmmm, fondue this weekend.

    A lot of these clearance items have been available for weeks now, if not months. Especially the Sonic stuff. See this posting from back in January:

    The price doesn't seem to have dropped further since then on the "Charge and Wheel Pack". My local Target has loads of this stuff. They also have clearance Wii Fit exercise mats and carry bag sets in the same section.

    Kudos on your patience at finding a car park at all of those shopping centres! :D

      Yup, thanks to systmworks for the OP, thought it was worth a second mention since the Wii Component Cables with 2GB SD card was discounted further to $9.88 and the wireless nunchucks for $4.88.

    Hah, just realised thats my old post from Jan..

    EDIT: I just got back from Robina mall (Gold Coast) and Target didnt have much left in the way of Easter stuff.

    However for those who need a BIG chocolate fix, Big W have big 400G blocks of Belgian chocolate for $2 in various flavour (milk, almond, hazelnut, fruit and nut) which works out at $5 a KG which is a bargain.

    That is assuming the stuff tastes OK… will see soon!

      I bought the 400G Belgian chocolate from bigw. it is about to expire in 22/April. That's why they are trying to clear the stock. Doesn't taste very good actually. Anyway, ok for the money.

    pretty sure last time i was at work at target penrith we still had about 15 hd component cables and 2 gb sd card and other accessories were also discounted

    though note not always every store has the same price clearances as they are often done on a store by store basis
    so prices can vary

    Carlingford has the 8-in-1 Sports pack and Sonic Batteries. They don't have the Component Cable or Wireless Nunchucks. I bought 2 of the sports packs… the heads of the racquet, golf and baseball bat are tiny but they will do the job. The case they come in is quite good.
