Pretty good price for the ultra-thin 12 inch Macbook. Price has dropped due to the release of the new model, with intel core M3, M5, M7 processors.You also get a 12 month Apple warranty, which is pretty cool! Other models and prices also listed:

  Love my rMBP
  But this - it's slow under strain and IMHO the keyboard is… Bad enough to induce a stroke

  Despite its aged screen, I would think twice about getting the air over this. Or a rMBP which I can highly recommend

    I, like you, hated the keyboard until I tested it out for a few days and I was really surprised that it grew on me. I'm planning to sell my MBPR for the new MacBook, but it's definitely not the machine for everyone

    Sagiballs, I, like you, have a Pro Retina. I love it, but it may be a little heavy for some. Compared to the air in benchmarks, the new macbook isn't really that far behind. I still do recommend try before you buy as some people personally might not like it.

  Don't forget the USB C issue, if you don't know what I'm on about.

  There was a recall recently, but apart from that. be aware it is the only port the unit has. so If you want to plug in an external drive etc. you must remove the charger, or lug about a multiport, so much for convenience.
  At this price they should really include a port within included with the macbook.
  It would gain them points instead of all the criticism they are getting. I for one do not like it, and I would rather the Air.
  I currently have a couple of 15" macbook pros.
