    • But that's only 50K rewards points?

      • They are QFF pts, this is reward pts. Big difference.

      • -1

You got it the wrong way around

Your link is Platinum thats 50,000 points

        Black is 75,000 points,

Its reward or Frequent flyers points,

As i mentioned before better take this down before you get trolled heavily for putting up such an error filled deal, and an incorrect edit/update

LINK to the correct reward/Qantas frequent flyers summary, scroll to mid/bottom of page

Interesting who's doing the negging without stating why…

        • You negged ass

  • -1

Need $2500 worth of "eligible purchases" as well

  • might want to close this before it gets spammed with "this has been around for almost 2 years now…" " and you got the wrong details in title"

  • 25k points = $100 cash to another anz account. So get the card, no annual fee, spend enough for eligible purchases then get $300 back?

  • -2

Misleading title. it is after 2500 aud of elligible purchase/s not after first spend

    • -1

      too much dough to spend

  • this one from ANZ is better, i think???

  • This offer: $0 annual fee (1st year), $95 2nd year, 75,000 points, once off spend (no minimum)

No. Read the terms and conditions..

    1. Offer available to new and approved applicants who apply for an ANZ Rewards Platinum credit card account by 31 May 2016. Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Rewards, ANZ Rewards Platinum or ANZ Rewards Black credit card within the previous twelve months. This offer applies only once per eligible customer. Your application must be approved and you must activate the card and make $2,500 worth of eligible purchases (purchases which are not eligible to earn Rewards Points are described in the ANZ Rewards – Rewards Program Terms and Conditions booklet, for example fees, cash, cash equivalent transactions, balance transfers, premiums paid for ANZ Credit Card Insurance and transactions for gambling or gaming purposes will not earn Reward Points) within three months of approval to receive the bonus Reward Points. The bonus Reward Points will be credited to your ANZ account within two months of the eligible spend criteria being met.

The website is quite misleading. It says "simply make an eligible purchase in the first 30 days 1".

When you look at the t&Cs for the 1 it says "Your application must be approved and you must activate the card and make $2,500 worth of eligible purchases".

I SUSPECT they copied and pasted generic and incorrect t&Cs…but still.

  • I think this is a targeted offer (not the standard offer requiring $2500 spend in 3 months).

    • I believe so. That's why you need to use this campaign link instead of the normal one Baghern keeps linking.

      • Nope, click on learn more on the campaign page and it takes you to another page, that tells you its 50,000points

The 75,000 points in the banner, does not say its for Platinum, just that's what a domestic flight is

      • So the question is whether this deal is available to anyone or only those that received the offer?

  • So, the bottom apply now button gives:

"Unfortunately the promotional offer you have selected cannot be found or has expired."

The top one links to a page with no details on minimum spend.

"Your application must be approved and you must activate the card and make an eligible purchase within three months of approval to receive the bonus Reward Points. Purchases which are not eligible to earn Rewards Points are described in the ANZ Rewards – Rewards Program Terms and Conditions booklet, for example fees, cash, cash equivalent transactions, balance transfers, premiums paid for ANZ Credit Card Insurance and transactions for gambling or gaming purposes will not earn Reward Points. The bonus Reward Points will be credited to your ANZ account within two months of the eligible spend criteria being met. "

Not sure why the negs on this post?

    • "Apply now" button works for me (mobile site, chrome browser)

      • My comment was applicable at time of posting.

Thank you for pointing out that the top and bottom buttons are both now working.

  • How long do they take to send your CC? I.e. If you are approved today, when can you expect the card in mail? I have a bill to pay by Thursday and wonder if I can receive the card by then. I applied for a different ANZ card last night got approved earlier today. So checking if I should wait till Wed to pay my bill?

    • It is possible but it is contingent on Australia Post. I would say you wont get it in time, but anything is possible.

    • Usually takes 5 business days (this is what was stated when I just applied) so don't think you'll make it.

  • Can the rewards points be swapped for QFF or velocity points?

  • Earn points for Bpayments?

    • I believe so with ANZ, but not sure if any change recently.

Neg all you want but when the bank doesnt give you the points later

    • +1

I think the neg was probably due to obvious statement…

    • Where exactly does it say this "Your application must be approved and you must activate the card and make $2,500 worth of eligible purchases" ?

  • Just applied, here are the T&C's when you progress further in the app:

This offer applies only once per eligible customer. Your application must be approved and you must activate the card and make an eligible purchase within three months of approval to receive the bonus Reward Points. If you transfer or cancel your new ANZ Rewards Platinum credit card account before the introductory bonus Reward Points are processed to your account, you may become ineligible for these bonus Reward Points.

Still unclear but I am going to give it a shot anyway

stop if you used the op's link.

Hes got all the info wrong

Use this link for all the info and research it yourself, rather than follow what people are saying

      https://www.anz.com.au/personal/credit-cards/offers/

      • VEDA is a credit score agency that has provided CC offers in the past (hence why I decided to go ahead). The URL for this deal does state 75K points though which contradicts your link. I will still be able to make 2.5K minimum spend if I have to but this is the bit that is unclear for me.

        • For those who are interested ANZ confirmed 75K points within first month.

"As per our records, you are eligible for 75000 Reward Points on first eligible spend in first month
Bonus Point are allocated within 60 days of the eligible spend criteria being met."

Hmm the link is towards a "campaign" mailout … is op reaping some kind of referral… hence the incorrect information on the topic…. and negging anything that is opposing/criticising it

    • -1

Sorry but I'm not negging you. Like you, I get no rewards from this post, just negs.

  • Go here for correct details,

    unadulterated link

    https://www.anz.com.au/personal/credit-cards/offers/

lets see if this gets negged…

  • I decided to apply for this deal and the first page of the process says your minimum income has to be $50,000 per year, not $35k. And as a self employed person I apparently have to give them my accountant's details. Eeeehhhh.

  • anyone succeed?

    • Yep :)

      • so it's an once off spend (no minimum) card?

        • +1

          By the sound of it:
"As per our records, you are eligible for 75000 Reward Points on first eligible spend in first month
Bonus Point are allocated within 60 days of the eligible spend criteria being met."

  • Looks like annual fee (1st year) is no longer free.

    • Yeah I have been charged an annual fee. Does anyone have a screenshot of it saying no annual fee? I only got one of the points T&C's.

Update: I contacted them and they are denying it was ever waived. Despite this annual fee clause having a recent date - "For ANZ Rewards Platinum a Total Annual Fee of $95 applies, which includes a $40 Annual Account Fee and a $55 Rewards Program Service Fee. For additional cardholders an Additional Cardholder Fee of $10 and Rewards Program Services Fee of $55 will apply per additional cardholder on the account. These fees are current as at Wednesday, 16 March 2016 and are subject to change."

      • All good - just got another reply. As long as you applied prior to 16 March they will waive it.

        • Are you sure? check your dates.

        • @jackofspade: Yep they refunded it. I applied well before they changed it (already been using the card for 3 weeks). I also got the points the other day.

      • The deal was posted on the 25 April. How is it possible that you applied before 16 March???

        • Sorry I got mixed up with the dates but I believe they did change the terms for the annual fee.

  • Before they changed the terms (adding annual fee), this was actually a better deal than the other one getting 90+ votes (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/236581)
I wonder why did this get 4 negs…
