50% off KitchenAid (Excl Refurbs) eg KSM150 $414.50 w/ Free Delivery. KitchenAid.com.au

1102
HAR16KA50

I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest KitchenAid pricing (at least for appliances) we've ever had on OzBargain.

  1. Visit http://www.kitchenaid.com.au
  2. Add items to cart and proceed to checkout
  3. Apply discount code HAR16KA50 to score 50% off PLUS free shipping in Australia

Examples:

  • KSM150 with Bonus Spiraliser $414.50 delivered (previous best price was $649 Delivered @ Myer)
  • KSM160 with Bonus Spiraliser $424.50 (previous best price was $519.20 @ COTD w/ membership and no bonus spiraliser)
  • Sparkling Beverage Maker $199.50 delivered (previous best was $239.95 pick up @ Taste Brisbane)

If you want to go all-out, you can even buy the 7.6L Commercial Stand Mixer for less than the wholesale cost price (as paid by hospitality supply companies). BOOYEAH! Broden the hell out of them and become an unofficial wholesaler ;-)

I don't know when this code will expire. Suggest acting quickly if you want to take advantage of it.

EDIT: Looks like the site has been OzBargain'd (now timing-out as at 7.45pm AEST 27Apr16)
EDIT: Site is loading (painfully slow…with plenty of broken image links) as at 9.45pm AEST 27Apr16
EDIT: You should be able to load pages on the site now (10.30pm AEST 27Apr16), but the cart functionality is either broken or it's been disabled. If it's still not working first thing tomorrow morning I'll expire the deal
EDIT: Website still dead at 5.15am AEST 28Apr16. Expiring the deal.
EDIT: Website is alive and code IS working (7.58am AEST 28Apr16) but superhuman level of patience is require to get through the transaction
EDIT: All over folks. Code has been withdrawn by KitchenAid (28Apr16 10.56am)

        • @jonnoyeo: time for a late night expresso!

  • Yeah I sometimes get the add to cart button it never adds and then the page crashes and I'm back to square one. I wants my blender :P

    • I have the same thing! I can add to cart but can't go to checkout :(

      • maybe everyone should go to bed and we'll post when we get through ;) I only want one thing :P

  • has anyone been able to get one

    • Thats my question too. has the efforts paid off?

      • +1

If a few people say "no", will you stop trying to access the site? Please?

        • I promise ;-)

    • i think it is well and truly knackered now :(

  • so much excitement over a mixer. I have no idea why it's expensive?? I guess for us nerds this would be like an Intel i7 being 50% off…

  • Ok shitty server won this time, I have a 4month old baby that needs to wake me up in 5hrs…
Good luck to you all and lets hope they don't cancel the code

    • +1

Perfect! It'll probably work five minutes after you leave. :)

  • This reminds me of the last 40% off all dyson sale from leaked code, it took me around 30min of refreshing and this….I am going to bed for now…..

  • +1

This code looks very similar to the one that was issued to the retailer my partner works for as it's a staff only offer. It's not meant for the general public and I'm pretty sure this will screw with their contract with KitchenAid. They must have decided to pull the site instead of letting all the orders go through.

    • +1

Won't it make more sense to simply disable that code?

      • You would think that but you never know lol

  • So what model would people recommend? The 150 and 160 appear to differ only in terms of the bowl?

    • +1

Think its just the bowl and plastic guard.

  • 6am and site is still down.

    • 7:15, no change

  • working now, successfully checked out using the code!
wife is in love with you OP

    • I'm going through the process too now… site is slow though.

      • After my order i thought i'd look around….. nup seems dead again…

        • nooooooooo

    • ozy, after your order, how many emails did you receive? I managed to order, but the site crapped out after submitting my order and didn't get any confirmation page. But I then received a payment receipt email saying payment was successful from the payment gateway, but no other email from kitchenaid regarding the order.

      • received confirmation email from acounts @ kitchenaid confirming payment was approved
confirmation page loaded after ~4 minutes

        • +2

Cool, thanks mate. My confirmation page never loaded, but got the receipt email from accounts (it's actually from their payment processor). So hopefully mine had gone through.

Thanks OP,I'll + the deal now.

        • +1

@gooseberry: I received another email from Kitchen aid with actual confirmation, next email they say will have tracking deats

        • +1

          @ozy:

Thanks mate, yeah just checked and I received another email from kitchenaid themselves about an hour after I ordered, confirming the order and saying I'll receive another email later with tracking info.

After having the site on auto refresh every 90 seconds last night, i came across https://pingability.com
they'll give you a trial for free. the site will check when the requested site (kitchenaid) is up and working and will email you when it is.
This is how I got in the small window to be able to purchase this morning.
    Hope it helps someone

    • +1

Good tip. Hopefully my order went through, but mine was just pure luck. Tried the website last night and wouldn't load, this morning after getting up thought I'd give it one try and managed to sneak an order in.

    • Now that's determination right there!

  • +1

deal hardly worked for anyone ..

  • +1

Got on to buy an ice cream bowl attachment 850am, couldn't add to cart.

    • +2

Try leaving the page open for a few minutes (no, really!) and the transaction-related buttons and links should eventually appear. I'm thinking we should crowd-fund them a new web host/servers.

      • I actually got the buttons appearing but wouldn't add. Will keep trying on principle now.

      • Looks like they spend $0 on their digital presence.

  • I give up. It feels like waiting in a very long que at the petrol station. :(

    • See here. One at a time, folks!

    • … but petrol is 80c/L !!

  • I had it in my cart, applied the discount but then it won't load the next page :(

  • Think they've taken the server down, site is refusing connections now.

    They're using Drupal. Ffs….

  • Site dead RIP!

  • Add to cart button pops up, then Drupal strikes again.

  • +2

To everyone that's still trying (me included), I say keep calm by watching this and keep trying.

Like this comment if you agree!

I thought games of chance weren't permitted on Ozbargain?

    • LMAO!

  • Are the fancy electric blue ones (normally) available through their website? They seem to be a Myer exclusive.

    • +1

If that's the actual colour name, the answer is no. But there are other blues eg "Cobalt Blue".

Here's a cached copy of the page for the KSM160 which will let you see what's available…if their website ever recovers.

  • Pretty sure this was a Harvey Norman employee exclusive deal. Terms and conditions have been breached hence website is temporarily shutdown and offer ceased.

    • If they have to disable the entire website by making it time out with random errors just to disable a promo code, they really need a new webmaster.

      • lol, exactly! It's a simple check-box in a CRM/CMS.

  • I just spoke to someone at Kitchen Aid over the phone and she said the code isn't valid???

  • I just a notification from kitchen aid that it's a invalid and expired code

    • via email after you made an order?

what context did you get it?

      • like the other person i spoke to customer service and they said it was invalid

  • +2

can't see the add to cart button, or is it just me :/

  • Looks like that offer has expired.. Tried to get in and that code no longer works:(

Got through to checkout "this coupon code is invalid or expired".

    http://imgur.com/2qNxqV5

    • can you try one

  • +2

Would love to know if this actually got honored. And what crap hit the fan behind the scenes…

  • +1

    UGH.

    I want one.

  • Are these as good as they say they are? Or glorified?

  • HAR16KA50 = This coupon code is invalid or has expired.

    • Aye. This was added to the post but some people are still clicking through

"EDIT: All over folks. Code has been withdrawn by KitchenAid (28Apr16 10.56am)"

  • just wanna know how many ppl actually managed to order?

  • been trying since 7pm last night and didn't manage to get one as website wasn't in a working state long enough to checkout. Guess the 5 second auto-refresh I had my browser on wasn't helping :)

  • These guys are almost as incompetent as Sony!

  • KitchenAid pricing is some of the most protected for any product. Surely this was an error. Does anyone actually think they'll honour this?

    • -2

It was not an error. And, yes, I do think they will honour it (order placed at 5.01pm 27Apr16 and not cancelled)

      • +4

I would like to neg my own comment here.

        :-)

        Order cancelled and refunded.

        • +3

Maybe they would have honoured your order if you hadn't plastered it all over the interwebs.

        • +1

          @gomertose:

Took a risk and lost. That's risk for you.

  • -2

Prior to posting the deal, I checked the interwebs to confirm the code hadn't been posted elsewhere. 17hrs later, it's on a few sites….

    …including this one https://www.oursteps.com.au/bbs/archiver/?tid-1197626.html :-)

    • bloody asia… RACIST!

    • At least they had the decency to source it.

  • I have not been able to get past the Drupal error screen while this code was active. And I tried many times.

  • this is definitely an exclusive staff discount code as I work for a stockist and we got the same sale a few weeks ago. whoever has leaked it has ruined it for everyone at Harvey Norman LOL good luck getting it honored as there are terms and conditions with the code eg. you have to supply your work details etc…

    • +1

40% off all Dyson was exclusive to an insurance company and leaked and they honored every orders

      • +1

Dyson probably have better values then kitchenaid.
some companies respect customers, some respect only money

    • (Interesting: OzBargain member who joined just to comment on this thread.)

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. FWIW, the checkout DID NOT ask for work details.

Also, the email thread from which the code was pulled did not appear to start from a KitchenAid stockist or KitchenAid themselves.

    • +4

Harvey Norman staff will probably blame it on professionals.

    • +1

You were absolutely right. Orders have been invalidated. Just received an apology-esque call from them, too.

      • -6

Ozdj u bought it at 5pm and only shared it at 6.30pm. U only posted it to get a laugh and now we get a laugh back at u.

  • Got refunded. They didn't honour my order (ordered yesterday)

    • +1

holy, all the hard work, they are definitely overpriced and would earn respect to honour the deal, well, I guess they don't really care.
