  • Where is it made ? vs where is it normally made ?

  • Seriously why not just say $20.98 including shipping in the title … its not as though there is a pick up option…

    • wow, op beat me to it :D i pressed edit and it was already changed!

      • haha :) now could you please change the URL for me please Davo

  • Link to the sale rather then picture would be better.

  • no. 1 these are disgusting.
no. 2 the V-Lemon deal was WAY better.
no. 3 I wish they still made/sold Dickens Energy Cider :(

    • +1 on the Dicken's cider! Love the old OCAU specials.

Re: the taste. Anyone know if these are similar to the Thai Red Bull?

      1. They are gross but only for 1 second.
      2. V Lemon is not way better tasting. It would be if it was a shot but it makes you feel sick after a whole can. They know it, that's why they don't make them anymore.
      3. I don't know these.

Lastly these things are like $3.00 each in petrol stations but the V pocket rocket is only $1.49 at Coles/ Shell stations and it has twice the amount of caffeine etc.
I buy the V's when I am tired but prefer to not use these.

    • The Red Bull energy shots taste like normal Red Bull. V Pocket Rockets are the ones that taste horrible and nothing like V.

    • yeah I am actually drinking the V I ordered right now. that was an awesome deal.

  • unless you take this daily, you have roughly 2 months to finish the pack

  • +1

Bought. This is a bargain at $1.75 per shot. The best before date is a little short, but it still leaves 90 days to use 12 shots. No problem.

  • I always find these very convenient.Usually they are very expensive and not on specials like normal cans/bottles.

  • Do we really need this much energy, have you people tried complicated things like exercise and getting enough sleep?

    • Another one that is quite good an available from chinese herbalists is Siberian Ginseng , its like natural speed seriously. Now i am not condoning the use of it but it is a natural alternative to artificial products and drugs etc

      • Strictly speaking Red Bull is not an artificial product. Taurine is a natural organic acid first extracted from ox bile and is found in low concentrations in human muscle. Caffeine is of course natural, as are all the vitamins added to Red Bull and the sugar. Even the colours are natural. (Sugar free Red Bull and shots do contain aspartame and sucralose, which are truly artificial).

Now some of these ingredients are likely manufactured from hydrocarbon feedstock, but whether the chemical comes from a natural source or is biologically equivalent yet made artificially really doesn't matter (herbalists and naturopaths would of course disagree).

        • i didnt mention it being artificial although i am not sure the products you are referring too have been processed or reconstituted as oppose to a naturally derived product.

Yep! I go to bed early on weeknights, get up really early to go to the gym, then go to work. This means that come Friday night, if I want to stay up past 10pm for any reason (party/band/event/anything), I'm pretty much screwed ;)

      Viva las caffeine.

      • +2

That's understandable, you pretty much described my life routine there… What I was more getting at is people who feel they need to drink several of these to get through their day, it's just a real problem that people feel they need to rely on shit like this to live their day to day lives.

    • Agreed to some extent. But caffeine does have its place. That's why elite sports people still take caffiene shots time to time.

      • and steroids although illegal

      • True, but isn't that usually during prolonged physical activity (or to act as a diuretic)

    • These should bring on a mild heart attack….

  • Hard to see why these are more expensive than the regular drink though? Less goes into making them you would suspect.

    • +4

You are forgetting the extra costs that Red Bull incur from the employment of multiple teams of South East Asian children to open the regular bottles, condense the contents in a frying pan and pour them into these smaller containers.

  • "The Red Bull energy shots taste like normal Red Bull." - With the added bonus of even more sweetness rendering it disgusting.

"These should bring on a mild heart attack…" - They will and they do, thus the recommended daily intake. A friend of mine was a bit overzealous during exam time with energy drinks, was in hospital with crazy heart palpitations.

    • i like to dilute mine with sprite or water

  • got me some ;D
