Were there any good games on the PS3?

    • +18

No. All the games over the last 10 years were all shit. The end.

      Move on.

try google and game of the year. if u think those are not good then no point.

    How is this a bargain?
You can buy these new for $120.
    Check out gumtree and Ebay.

      Cheapest PS3 I can see is $120, plus $20 postage… and it's a 12gb model.

To be fair to him, I much MUCH MUCH rather have a brand new 12Gb and steal one of the pile of discarded laptop 120-320Gb hdds at work than to have a well worn refurb.

We do mass upgrades to SSDs at work so we have more 2.5 hdds than we know what to do with.

        • My first thought was eBay, but I guess it's probably not be worth the effort from a company standpoint.

Seems like such a waste though!

        • +1

Well, if you could send me a few of those HDD's, it'd be appreciated.

      • Kmart and then Target had them for $120 brand new.
There's people on gumtree selling them closely the same price.
        New hd's cost around $60

It's not like you need the PS3 right now. Hunt around for bargains on new ones. Refurbs will always (profanity) up.

  • Got the 500gb PS3 FOR $200 from Target a couple weeks ago for my 9 & 7 yr old kids. Bonus is that I'm able to get most games on eBay for $5-10 each, unlike PS4 game prices. I compared EB but decided to get it new instead.

as an owner of a 2nd had PS3 dealing with RLOD problems, i'd suggest buy new, its not worth the hassle/risk

Well looking on Gumtree (WA) there is a 120gb console listed 39 minutes ago with 12 games for $120, this is typical.
Much better value then a refurbished from eb.
Plus you will generally get a HDMI cable included and can give cash to a genuine person rather than the rip off's at EB.

Sweet, does the seller have 10 consoles and 120 games? Does the seller provide 3 months warranty?

Hey Genius I'm just saying the current supply of Gumtree PS3 ads will be easily be sufficient for the number people who are going to wanting to buy a PS3 at this stage, and they will get a much better deal than this, easily….Even if they have to wait a few days for a preferred bundle to arise I'm sure it wouldn't matter given they've waited this long.

There is no need to rush out to EB and pay more than you have to..This is ozbargain and people are going to want the best value for their money.

If you really wanted a 3 months warranty you could shop at Cash Converters, which also provides better value in most cases, for example 320gb console for $109 C&C ($124 shipped) https://webshop.cashconverters.com.au/item/2386929/sony-play….

I didn't say this wasn't a deal, but for most people it only would be if you didn't have any other better options (Gumtree/CC nearby), or all you have is an EB games gift card.

Don't get all butt-hurt when people point out other potential avenues which would better suited for anyone wishing to pick up a PS3 in this stage of the generation.
