  • Apart from being really big, this is a crappy deal. Something like the Redmi Note 2, or Lenovo K5 are better in every respect - except they are 5.5" instead of 7".

You better off paying a bit more for a 6.44' Xiaomi Max phablet releasing this week.

The Mi Max does look very tempting.

But it's a 50% price premium over this.

Released in 2013, sorry, not worth it.

Outdated OS, horribly low-res screen, very outdated CPU, 1GB RAM, no 4G… this is quite awful. And that's apart from that fact that I can't see myself holding a 7" phone.
Also, it's cheaper on their main website.

    • Agree about the outdated OS. I find Android 5 is much more user friendly that the older Android 4 OS. As above cheaper on web than eBay site. Quiet old as well.

I dont know what worse, making calls on this or reading email on a smart watch…

  • When will they learn that 1GB on Android that doesnt natively have Swap memory is just NOT enough??

  • Just bought a used Nexus 7 2013 with magnetic case for $180. If you can get one I think that would be a better deal.

  • I got this phone brand new on release. I paid $50 for it on a plan, and aside from being outdated, it smashed the iPad mini in battery life. Pretty good for $50… 3 years ago. $198 today? Life's got better priorities.
