Amaysim Unlimited Plans 50% off The First Two Months 7GB Unlimited $19.95 Per Month or 1.5GB Unlimited $12.45 Per Month

570
UNLD50

This is an old code that is either working again or still works.
Its not a bad deal as far as these things go: 50% of the unlimited call plans for the first two months, Unlimited international standard calls to 10 countries https://www.amaysim.com.au/international-calls - Note: Amaysim call a month 28 days.
I'm sure everyone knows the Amaysim drill by now! New customer or new sign ups only.
First Two months only at this price then back to full price or move on.
Tested code on 1.5GB and 7GB plans - just works on these two.
Kudos to bargainrus who noticed this.

  • "The drill"??
Is there a quick way for existing customers to get access to this deal?

    • It's for new customers or sign-ups.

    • port out to telstra on a $5 sim and back again.

Right, I'm finally biting. 2mths, 50% off… I'm gonna do the port in/out, at the risk of losing call/txt into the ether during that period.

  • Can you buy this and activate it in 25 days?

Thanks King Tightarse, currently quote competitive the at the moment, $1.40 per day vs undiscounted Aldi XXL at $1.50 per day for the corresponding 7GB data. I wish we kept our referral credit after porting out.

I was too slow in buying Boost at 50% off, which would have been $0.67 per day. However, Kogan 20% off is $0.71 per day seems cheaper because of the current 3G network.

However, currently with Kogan, the need to port out and back to Kogan. So locking oneself with Amaysim for 2 months may only be slightly cheaper when Aldi allows you freedom for porting when a better deal comes along.

  • oops, ordered sim couple of days ago, now can't use this code as it only applies to new customer.

  • thanks mate! got one

Legend, was in desperate need of something to port to. the deals on starter packs seem to have dropped right off

    • I was on Optus 50% off 6 months (month to month no contract) bargain from last year. $60 plan for $30 pm for 6 months was sweet deal. Spoke to optus today and they said closest plan they have is the $40 Sim only. So it was a good time to port.

      • me2 in the same boat. will contact Optus tomorrow to see if they give me further 6 months discount

        • I tried man, no use. They said oh yeah you are eligible for upgrade. I was like sure, what is included in my upgrade. He was like you can get a phone on plan for $120 same things included what you already had. ( basically $30 plan with 2 gb more data and a phone for 4 times the price)

  • guys i am still using the voda starter packs which I got for $12 ($40 value ones)
4gb data , unlimited locals , and 90 intl mins

u can still get em from ebay , there are no issues with those sims sold on ebay

    • hi, thanks for the reminder.. Cheapest ones I can find are $15 but not too bad I guess. http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odkw=vodafone+starter&_so…

    • Yes those Voda ones are pretty good too. I forgot to mention these Amaysim deals have Unlimited International calls to 10 countries, if that something you use. Have updated the post. https://www.amaysim.com.au/international-calls

pretty decent combo starter kits! bought $12.40 from phonebot
I ported in/activated last week and got 4GB bonus (offer is still valid if activate by 31/5/2016)…
then after 2 days, got a text message saying: welcome to Voda, we doubled your data and expiry date ^_^

So, now I've got 12GB data, unlmtd txt/call, 180 international minutes, $80 combo credit (could be used up for int call/txt), 2 months expiry
      yeyyyyyy

  • Any problem porting from one carrier to another (keeping the same number) ? Postpaid to prepaid vice versa? Any down time?

I typically port between Amaysim (often discounted) and Vodafone each month. Occasionally throwing Telstra into the mix.

Vodafone $50 sim for $18.95 is the best value right now (if you get good reception)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VODAFONE-50-PREPAID-SIM-10GB-DATA…

Does it take longer porting in and out when it's an MVNO?

    • I dont think it takes any longer- not in my experience with Amaysim anyway but sometimes I bounce the number onto a spare $2 Telstra SIM if I want to port quickly within the same network EG Amaysim to Optus. That is by far the fastest way.

There is another seller on ebay, offered him 17 and ordered 5.

    • I've noticed that porting into Vodafone (from Amaysim) can be sped up by calling VF and asking to be ported immediately (after completing the online porting form). Porting into Amaysim has been very quick (<1 hour from Vodafone).

      • Good tip I will try to remember that.

  • Doesn't work for me. Tried on UNLIMITED 7GB

    • Oh maybe they killed it, I'll check too
      EDIT: Gone!

  • Will port back to TPG in 2 weeks time after my Amaysim plan expired.

TPG $10 monthly plan for first 6 months looks tempting.

What referral credits? They don't appear to have posted a referral link… Is this you just being angry that you haven't been able to profiteer from people on here like you seem to have done last time?

      • The referral link is edited mate!

  • @bargainrus
    OK random insane guy.
You mean by politely PM-ing you and asking if you would like to use the old code you commened on?
Wow there is no pleasing some people and in answer to your PM, no I will not be sending you money via PayPal.
    Wow lol.

    • Do you expect people to be on their phone all the time?
If you have posted the deal before I replied, I genuinely requested to share the credit and you didn't acknowledge to it.I thnik it's fair for me to ask the credit as you got the code from my post.
