  went to one of such kambo stuff before, still more expensive than hardly normal sale………. or good guys
  only some crap stuff might be "on sale"
  One example is vacuum cleaner, they selling for 160, target selling for 150……so bear in mind to compare around rather than jump in a and think its cheap and grab it……. Its hard though as they never provide info until u jump in the 2-3 hours special

  Sorry to hear that. went to a good guys 'below cost' sale, found it pretty crappy. Tried to tell them how it's not really cost price, as they get big discounts for ordering wholesale that doesn't show up in their system, pretty ignorant about it though.

  how do you really know what their true 'cost price' is anyway? it's not like they are going to open up their books for every stranger that walks in off the street
  also keep in mind, i come from a retail background, current model electronics have a slim margin, around 5-20% typically, competition is the main factor, when you see something that was $100 and now is $39, that $100 was RRP when it first came out months or years ago

    When I went on the weekend they had older model TVS which were costing more than then new model. I was told there has been a significant price drop in newer models, but this is a 'cost' + $1 so the price the older TVs cost them originally +$1 was significantly more. No other discounting.

  Went to Kambos on the weekend and there were no real bargains on TVs or on Computer accessories that I could see.
  WARNING: You have to do your research with Kambos. I went to buy a kitchen appliance. They offered it to me for a special discounted price off the visible ticket price. I went home and found that their 'special discount price' was $10 more than Rrp!! I went back and confronted them and was told, after some consideration and discussion, that they could match the Rrp. I rang HN and they gave me a price on the phone that was significantly cheaper. Got it cheaper still when I went in and haggled.

  creative accounting here. the "cost" is not their real cost. Very dishonest.
